It’d be great to be able to have complete freedom when it comes to building your ship in Starfield. This freedom of course, includes you witnessing the consequences of your actions when you misplace a vital ship component, or fail to install it at all.
Luckily, the game is nice enough to let you know that your dreams just aren’t meant to be by making use of the color red. You can find these errors in the lower right of your screen. The problem is it doesn’t show you enough information regarding the error. Do a little bit of reading below if you want to get up in the air again!
How to Find Errors While Building a Ship
Errors will start to pile up once you get too creative with your ship design. These errors will have warnings like “Multiple Reactors” or “Low Mobility.” They’ll also be accompanied by the color red depending on which area is affected by the error.
To find the error and possibly rectify it, go to Flight Check. Here you will see all of the messages and notifications telling you what’s going wrong with what you’re working on.
Remember, you can’t slap on more reactors to have more energy. The least you can do is upgrade the reactor or get a better ship overall when you have the credits for it.
That’s how you can find errors while building your ship in Starfield. Don’t forget to rank up your piloting skill if you want to access Class B and C ships later on!
