Starfield has been arguably the most anticipated game awaiting its release for the past two years. The game represents the first project that Bethesda undertook after being acquired by Microsoft. Therefore, expectations for this game have been pretty high.
Although the game is poised for a launch on September 6, players can jump into the game as part of early access. This guide will focus on how to join the UC Vanguard, which is one of the factions in the game.
How to Join the UC Vanguard
You can join the UC Vanguard quite early on in the game once you reach the second mission. This second mission is named the Old Neighborhood, and it will involve your interaction with Sarah’s contact.
Sarah’s contact with be Commander John Tuala who can be found inside the MAST Outpost. Once inside the outpost follow the waypoint and it will lead you to be commander. Interact with him and one the first things he will inform you about will be the Vanguard.
This conversation will be followed by the first dialogue choice “I would love to join the Vanguard. Sign me up” in which you will have to choose the second option next. The options are shown in the image above.
Once you select the option you will be informed of the requirements for joining the vanguard. These will involve taking an exam, doing some paperwork, and a probationary mission.
