While going through the “Echoes of the Past” mission in Starfield, you’ll have to search Kryx’s Cell for more information. As much as this sounds like a simple task, it’s actually very confusing. How to Search the Cell for More Information in Echoes of the Past Mission Guide
In order to complete the “Search the Cell for More Information” objective, simply interact with lamp in the table, located in the left side of the cell, as shown in the image below.
It will say that the “The base of this desk lamp seems to be loose.” Then, select the option to “Pry open the base.”
Afterwards, an audio log called, “Best Laid Plans” by Jasper Kryx will appear. You’ll have to listen to it in order to complete the objective.
