The weapon can be found on planet Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system, your home away from home. Go to the Abandoned Industrial Compound section of the planet and it will be inside of a weapons case in one of the upper levels.

When you spawn into the area, head for the ramp going to the left and activate the airlock. Once you gain access, you should see an orange door to your right. Interact with the switch to open the door and go towards the octagonal room at the other side.

Go to the other side of the same room and you’ll find two weapon cases. The larger one will hold the Legendary Rifle. If you’re lucky, regular Spacers might drop this too when you’re out doing quests!
