No Rest for the Wicked is an action RPG that has you controlling a character that travels through a land filled with dangerous monsters that will try to kill you on sight. With that said, you will need to be prepared at all times, which includes having a plethora of resources and equipment on your person. Luckily, the starting area has some pretty good things to get if you manage to find them. In this guide, I will show you how you can get the Storage Room Key, plus the Storage Room and where you can find the Shovel.
Storage Room & Key + Shovel Location
First off, we’re going to look for the Storage Room Key. This key can be found at the starting location of the game. Look at the image below and you will see where the player character is currently at (near the tower). Remember the location on the map and head there.
Once you are at the location of the map, you will have to look to the left and then drop down to the wooden floors below. There will be a dead body that has an item next to it. It will be the Storage Room Key. Grab it and climb back up.
Back at the top, you will then have to go to the Storage Room. Luckily, the Storage Room can be found on the map. Look at the image below and the location of the Storage Room will be marked. Follow the map and head to the location.
Once at the location, you will find a locked door that can be opened with the Storage Room Key. Once inside, you will find a chest full of goodies and right next to that chest is the Copper Shovel. Pick them up and continue on with the game.
