In Striker Odyssey, there’s a lot of things you’ll need to cover and learn. One of them are the different weapons and abilities. Not only do you need to know what you have but what your opponent has so you know how to counter them. Learning all these abilities can be difficult though, and you get them by chance.

In this guide, we’ll show you the strengths and weaknesses of all of the weapons and abilities in the game. So, let’s check out on what the game has to offer!

Full Guide to Every Weapon

There’s a lot of different weapons or abilities that you can get in Striker Odyssey. Of course, you’ll get them through random chance because every game seems to do that these days. Here are all the weapons and abilities you can get in the game and what they’re good at!

Direct Shot and Finesse Shot

Both Direct Shot and Finesse Shot aren’t the best weapons in the game. The Direct shot, as the name implies is just a shot directed towards where you aim. The Finesse shot is similar to the Direct one but has a slight curve to it.

Striker Odyssey Direct Shot

Both shots aren’t that great, but the Direct Shot can be good if you press “T” and use Direct Shot aiming to the corners. Otherwise, it’s best to reroll for better weapons when you get these.

Stealthy Steps

One of the best weapons in the game and something most people try to get. When you activate the weapon, your speed will be increased, and you’ll get small moments of invulnerability while the skill is active. That means players can’t tackle you or get the ball.

Striker Odyssey Stealthy Steps

This weapon is often used to close the distance since you can use it without a ball as well. It’s also great for getting the ball from players, or tricking players before a shot. It’s a very versatile weapon and a must have for any player.

Explosive Acceleration

Same as the Stealth Steps as one of the best weapons in the game. It can be used with or without the ball and is basically a small burst of speed. You can easily control where to go and when you’re close to the net, using this at the right time is difficult to block for the enemy.

Just like Stealthy Steps you can use this weapon to either close the gap or create space. You can trick enemies before a shot or use it to suddenly try to get the ball. Another versatile must have weapon in the game.

Jumping Power

Another weapon that’s quite underwhelming, and not that great of a choice to have. It basically makes your jumps better by letting you jump higher. The second skill on the tree is a mid-air trap but you can easily get better traps in trapping that is explained later.

Immense Speed

This weapon makes it, so you get a fairly long burst of speed just as long as you hold the button press. Great for doing making some space or closing the gap and sometimes to go forward and wait for an ally to pass the ball to you to make a shot. Otherwise, it’s not that great compared the Stealthy Steps.

Mark Smell

Mark Smell is a great skill to counter Stealthy Steps. It’s easy for Stealthy Steps to go pass players but when using this skill, you can easily get the ball back. Best used near the goal but it takes a bit of practice to perfect the timing of using it as you need to predict your enemy’s movement. Once you do though it’s a great counter!

Elastic Dribbling

When you activate Elastic Dribbling, you can hold it and an arrow will spin around your character. When you let go of the button you’ll move to where that arrow is. If you time it right this can be great in faking out your opponents and either get past them or get a goal.

Striker Odyssey Elastic Dribbling

Elastic Dribbling also has a lot of moves and almost all of them you’ll need to hold and wait for the right time. It’s a set of moves best used to faking enemies or quickly getting to a better position.

Perfect Kick Accuracy

This set of abilities is best used by players who are good at aiming their shots. It heavily relies on the skill of the player’s ability to aim. It has two shot moves that curve and needs a lot of practice to get it right and the third one is a pass that curves to the player you’re passing with. It has a high skill ceiling and works well with other moves.

Villainous Soccer

Another set of different moves, the first one being a straight and fast dash with the ball. The downside is that it has a small moment where it draws on the ground where you’re going which can be detrimental. Think of it as a worse Explosive Acceleration.

Striker Odyssey Villainous Soccer

The second move is a Lightning Dribble which makes you go forward in a zigzag really fast. One of the better moves in the set and hard to counter. The bad part is that your character commits to the animation and enemies can wait at the end of the zigzag to get you.

The last one is Villainous shot which has a slight downward trajectory but is really fast and very difficult to catch.

Trapping

Trapping is another set of moves that is quite versatile and relies on combinations of skills. In our guide on Trapping, we show you how to effectively use this set so make sure to check it out. We also show you all the abilities you get from it and how to combine them!

Those are all the weapons in Striker Odyssey. There’s a lot of them and you’ll need to roll for each one so hopefully you get the better ones out there!
