Super League Soccer is, as the name implies, a soccer game for Roblox with some incredibly simple controls that hide some more in-depth mechanics based on the actual sport. In this quick guide, we will be showing you how to perform a volley shot, which you may have not been aware was possible in the game!
How to Volley Shot
The normal volley shot is actually pretty simple, though it requires a bit of practice to get used to the proper timing of the kick.
Basically, with the ball approaching you, get ready to hold left click for the amount of power you want. Then, once the ball is close enough, let go of the left mouse button and immediately jump.
If you did it correctly, your character should kick the ball away before it touches the ground. However, you should make sure not to jump while holding the kick. This will result in a different type of shot.
You can also do this on your own by kicking the ball at max power while standing on the white line. As you are standing on the line, you will be in the perfect spot to do a volley shot when the ball bounces back at you.
Doing a Ground Volley Shot
A ground volley shot is a similar maneuver, but the ball will travel much lower in what is almost a straight line compared to the normal version of this kick.
To do this, you have to be in the same distance that you would be in for the normal volley shot. However, instead of holding left click, you will be holding the right mouse button and then jumping once the ball is close enough.
If done correctly, the ball should be kicked away similar to a normal volley kick, but at a lower arc. This can be a great move when you are close to the goal.
As an added tip, the normal volley kick can also be used on a stationary ball. Although it isn’t necessarily a “real” volley, the maneuver still works in a similar way and will let the ball travel a fairly long distance.
The move itself is pretty hard to master, so don’t beat yourself up if you can’t get it right after a few tries. Once you get it down to a science, though, you’ll be unstoppable in the field!
