There are many enemies and puzzles that will try to slow you down in Super Mario RPG Remake. This revamped version of a 1996 RPG features a lot of puzzles, such as the Forest Maze, which can get a bit confusing if you don’t know which way to go. In this guide, we’ll go through a quick and easy way to beat it!
How to Get Through Forest Maze | Geno’s Maze
When you first enter the Forest Maze, you will be able to enter the one tree stump at the end of a linear hallway. Upon going inside, just make your way to the very right and jump on the spring platform.
The maze itself will begin once you make it to the next area, as you’ll find several tree stumps that you can jump into in this place.
Go to the very end of this hallway to the left and jump inside the lone tree stump at the corner. Inside will be a sleeping worm. Jump on its back to get launched into the next area.
Upon being launched into the air, proceed to the left and jump inside the lone tree stump. From here, just follow the path until you reach another spring platform that will lead you out of the cave.
In the next zone, you will eventually run into Geno, who looks like a puppet wearing a blue robe and hat. Once you spot him, follow him through the forest.
To save some time, avoid as many enemies as you can as you’re following him from zone to zone. Eventually, he’ll disappear, and you’ll be in a hallway with a save point in it.
Here’s an order of the right paths to take if you lose track of him:
- Right
- Up
- Up
- Right
- Up
- Left
Once you’ve gotten to this point, that’s pretty much it. You’ve made it to the end of the Forest Maze without getting lost!
That’s all you need to know in order to get through the Forest Maze. Be ready for a fight once you make it to the end, as you’ll be facing Bowyer when you do!
