There’s a lot of different quests in Tears of the Kingdom and not all of them are straightforward and easy. Some of them can be quite confusing and difficult to do. In the Southwestern parts of the map in the Gerudo Desert is Gerudo town and there you’ll find the quest The Heroine’s Secret.
In this guide we’ll show you where to start this quest and what to do to complete it. So ready you’re in-game camera because you’ll be taking a few pictures!
The Heroine’s Secret Guide
Starting the Quest
To start the quest, you’ll first need to go to Gerudo Town in the Gerudo Desert and look for the NPC Rotana. She’ll be in front of a Stelae, like on the image below. Talk to her to start the quest of looking for the 4 Stelaes.
Stelae 1 Location
The first Stalae is just behind the one the quest giver is looking at. Go to the back and head left. There you’ll find a bunch of rocks that you can either destroy using a weapon or a time bomb.
When the rocks are cleared you’ll see the Stalae behind it. Take a picture of it using your Camera to continue the quest.
Stelae 2 Location
The next Stalae is to the north of the quest giver. Go straight north and onto the room shown below. It’s the room with the red flag of a bottle on top of the doorway.
Once you reach the room go check the southeastern wall, there you’ll see some breakable pottery. Break them as Link always does and go through that small hole into a cave.
You’ll be in a small cave, and above that cave is where we want to go! Use Ascend to go upwards.
This will send you to another room at the top where there’s the Stelae!
Stelae 3 Location
The next one is to the left of the quest giver, take the doorway there and stick to the left wall. Continue following the wall until you reach the area shown below. You’ll find a broken Stelae with a missing segment.
Remove the sand next to it by using a Korok-Frod Guster. This will reveal the piece that broken off. You can then use your Ultrahand to place it back and then take a picture of it!
Stelae 4 Location
For the last one, go back to the quest giver and head to the left doorway again. This time go straight to where there’s a bunch of NPCs. Shown below are the two pieces of the Stelae and you need to line them up to take a picture.
Look for the right angle when you line the two pieces up, you know it’s the right one when it says “Monument To Seven Heroines.”
Finishing The Quest
With all the Stelae photographed, you can go back to the quest giver Rotana. Give her the photographs to complete the quest!
