You already know that exploration in Tears of the Kingdom means that you either have to take it to the skies or journey to the center of the earth to get a quest done. Nobody ever mentioned having to go spelunking though!
Not everyone may warm up to the idea of crawling through a narrow crevice just to see some brightly-lit stalagmites, but worry not as the spaces you’ll be going through won’t be too claustrophobic. If the idea of a tight squeeze makes you tremble with fear however then stick around, this guide will get you to the Mushroom Haven in no time.
Who Finds the Haven Side Quest
The Mushroom Haven is your final destination in the “Who Finds the Haven” side quest. You can get to the entrance using the Sturnida Springs Cave (-4030, 2658, 0018). You can either use the Tauyosipun Shrine or the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower across Lake Kilsie to get there.
Once you’re at the entrance of the cave you’ll see Nat and Meghyn in a cutscene together. They’re talking your destination, which would be the Mushroom Haven. After they finish talking go around the rock and into the tunnel that leads further into the cave.
The path will eventually lead to a blocked off section where you have to make use of explosives again. That or you can just use Fuse along with any Thick Sticks you may have in your inventory along with a boulder to carve out a smaller entrance for a more environment friendly approach.
Follow the path again and it will lead into another room with a giant rock in the middle, this time it’s not breakable. Jump off the ledge and you’ll see a boulder you can move using your Ultrahand ability.
Crouch and make your way into the crevice. There are no offshoots for you to get lost in since it’s only one way. At the end will be the fabled Mushroom Haven. Another cutscene will trigger once you get there, finishing the quest.
