One of the vital things Link must find in Tears of the Kingdom are the Zonai devices. They require charges to be used. There are several types of devices that will make your exploration a lot more exciting and easier. The Zonai Rockets is one of the devices that Link can use to shoot a powerful rocket.
The rocket, however, can be challenging to find because of the low count. But fret not for we know exactly where to go! We will keep you updated if we ever find new spots of Zonai Rockets.
Zonai Rockets Location
The Zonai Rocket creates a powerful propelled missile in a thrust but burns out fast. You can currently pull for Zonai Rockets from the dispensers at two known locations: west of Tarrey Town and West Hebra Sky.
But other than these places, there are locations where you can find them lying around as part of puzzles and challenges like in South Hyrule Sky or the Oromuwak Shrine.
The South Hyrule Sky’s Zonai Rockets can be reached from the Geruldo Canyon Skyview Tower. Launch up the tower, scan the surface and sky map to update them. You’ll then be able to glide and find this floating island on your southeast within the East Geruldo Sky Archipelago.
Using Ultrahand, you can move these rockets to attach to the plane. There are two rockets that you can attach before you slam them and take off into the sky.
In the Device Dispenser by the Tarrey Town, you can exchange for Zonai Rockets as well. You can always check in Device Dispensers on the map what Zonai Devices are available before visiting them. It’s a great tip to save your time from going from places to places trying to find that one device!
In Oromuwak Shrine, you’ll find so many of these rockets. Get very familiar to how they work as they’re integral parts in solving the puzzle within the shrine.
Another way to get Rockets is by using the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Glide to the north, slightly west. Drop down on a floating rock platform with air balloon. Hit it to bring you up high enough to glide to the Ijo-o Shrine.
On the other end of the island is the dispenser which will give you rockets. You’ll definitely need a lot of Zonai Charges to get enough rockets from here.
You can also randomly find Zonai Rockets lying around areas and buildings where Zonai used to operate, such as Armories. Sometimes they are attached to contraptions and provide you with an idea of the possibilities.
Keep in mind that Zonai Rockets are super useful when attached to carts or aircrafts. But because they disappear with a single use/hit, you don’t want to waste them by launching them on their own.
