God of War Ragnarok – The Broken Prison Guide

Location & Info

This quest is part of the Epilogue quests that you will be doing in God of War Ragnarok. You will need to come to a very big location and then just inspect the entirety of a prison. This is the location where you will need to arrive first and then head to the prison.

Getting In The Prison

You will need to be walking on top of the white frozen structures and jump from one to another until you get to the very entrance on top of it. There will be a lot of enemies to find and a lot of obstacles to jump over.

As you get lower and lower you will need to use the spear into the holes to be jumping your way onto the lower levels. At every level, you will get a couple of new enemies that will come after you. Keep searching the gates to find more enemies and good loot.

Finding The 3 Runes For The Chest

Once you get here you will need to be on the lookout for 3 runes that you will need to destroy. They will be on different floors so it will be tricky to find them all.

The first one will be next to the main gate that you will need to hit with your hook chains.

The second one will be at the very bottom of the level. You will need to throw a spear to it to hit it.

And the third and last one will be in the gate that you will need to open with the locked-up enemy behind it.

Getting To The Bottom Level

Once you complete the chest you will need to be heading a little bit lower to be able to find more things. Just chuck the spear in the lowest possible hole as shown in the picture below.

Now just get on the lowest floor without going to the blue area that might damage you if you get near it. Once you get on the lower floor you will need to head to the left side of it(shown in the picture) and look for a gate that you can open.

Here you are going to be able to find the missing flower that is a part of the collectibles in this region – Nine Realms in Bloom.

Finding Lord Tyr

When on the lowest level you will also need to be on the lookout for a gate that will open up and you can find the Lord Tyr inside. First, you will need to pull down the hook chains on the sides. There will be one on the left and one on the right side.

This is what they look like. You will pull down all of them and then just use the spears that you have placed before to get to the lowest floor.

Once you get on the lowest floor you will be looking for the corners and then just get to this enemy with an axe. Behind this enemy is where you will find the Lord Tyr locked away.

You will defeat the enemy and then just open up the gate. Once you get it opened get inside and you will get a cutscene and complete the questline. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you out on how to completely finish The Broken Prison and find everything inside. Have fun doing it yourself!
