The Front is a survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world where you fight off monsters, rebels, and even hostile players. There are tons of gear and structures to craft in this game, and all of their recipes require a wide variety of resources.

Having said all of that, one of the more valuable resources is resin, which is used in various other recipes. So how does one quickly and efficiently acquire some of it?

How to Get Resin Fast

Normally, you can get resin by simply chopping down trees. Unfortunately, this method will take you too long. Instead, you will want to process a ton of wood through one of the game’s many crafting stations.

First, you will need a grinding table, which you can unlock through the Supplies tech tree. Once you have unlocked the recipe for it, you will need 25 stone, 10 wood, and two iron ingots.

After constructing a grinding table, you will also need to unlock the recipe for resin, which is under the Basic tech tree. You can unlock it after getting the Pyrolyzer recipe.

For the Pyrolyzer’s recipe, we mention it in this guide on The Front: How to Get Polymer!

Now, open up the grinding table and you should see the resin recipe on the left hand side of the menu.

In order to make resin, you will need at least four wood, and the crafting process will take five seconds for every piece.

Overall, this process is much faster than solely relying on drops from trees. Besides, since you’ll be chopping a lot of wood anyway, you may as well use some of it to make the resin you need.

And that’s how you can quickly stock up on resin in The Front. There are more advanced recipes that require a lot of this resource, so knowing how to craft some yourself will be incredibly helpful later on!
