Darkness Secret Guide & Showcase
Darkness Secret is a reward tower after clearing Chapter 1 where you get Darkness Urns. Open them to get the Darkness Secret. Here are some facts about the Darkness Secret:
- Placement Cost is very high: $35,000.
- He deals max 100,000 AoE damage, but at 0.1 speed. That means his DPS averages at 10,000.
- His passive boosts Paranormal Towers by 10%.
Due to his slow attack speed, you need to strategically place this tower on the map. The closer to the entrance in general is better as it allows him to initiate his attack faster.
Curses
There are several curses that you can plug into your Darkness Secret tower. Because of his insane blast damage, the Nightmare, Infernal, and Obliviou are some top 3 curses you can use. But Blitz might be the Curse you want to increase its attack speed.
Upgrades
There are also two ways you can upgrade the tower:
- For DPS, get 2 Speed and 2 Damage. You need the speed to counter the bad slow attack speed.
- For sub-DPS and support in Paranormal Team: 4 Boosts.
Team Setup
Darkness has two tags: Shadow and Unholy. Shadow is a new tag, so we’re going to have to wait for new towers to be added to this category. For the Unholy tag with Paranormal, some towers to use in tangent are Nightfang, King Bones, and The Mask.
