Here’s how you’re going to finish the police station mission with big loot and escape safely.

116 Local Police Station Mission
The local police station is where you end up when your mysterious sponsor tell you to purposely get caught.
You’re here to jailbreak a friend as your main mission, but aside from that, you don’t want to miss out on the opportunities. What opportunity you may ask.
Well, there’s the IMAK set, the SSD, the monitors, the fans – all the monies.
Start by reading the note in the bucket in your cell. That note comes with a New Parcel Code and information that there’s a crowbar hidden in there. Well, it’s not really hidden as it’s just place against the wall in the dark corner that you can immediately grab. You’re ready now.
Lockpick your cell door, don’t worry about doing this in front of the police. Once the police leaves and goes up, unlock the cell across yours to get your associate out, which is part of your main mission.
Now, for the rest of the mission, you don’t have to worry about hiding her. The camera and police won’t consider her an extension of yourself, so it doesn’t matter if she is in plain sight.
Go right and don’t forget to grab the easter egg on your left next to the steel storage. Inside is some money you can grab as well. Then, go up the stairs to your right and here’s where you can do a lot of extra objectives aside from escaping.
There are many ways to do these things depending on where everyone is but here are some tips:
- Crouch and open doors slowly at all time. There are several window range where it’s safe to run, but just to be extra safe, just crouch at all time because you’ll have to redo the entire process if you get caught.
- It’s generally safer to go upstairs first to the 2rd floor and grab the loot there then come back down. This is also where the iMak is.
- Make sure to not to spend more than 5 minutes on this mission or another police will come back to the station.
- There are 3 keys but you only need one.
We suggest going up the stairs to the 2nd floor first where you can find the iMak set. It is important that you grab the entire set of iMak to be able to sell them on Blackbay.
Then, head back to the 1st floor where you can find the keys to unlock the exit door.
There are three keys with one on the table with the iMak the easiest to get. You can just wait until the cop leaves the place.
There’s another one you can pickpocket out of the cop when he’s in the storage room and kneeling down. Another one is inside the conference room.
There are several exit doors you can use, indicated by a blue door icon on the screen.
- One is on the 3rd floor which is immediately the exit door once you reach the floor. Perfect if you took the iMak last and can safely exit the station without worries.
- One is in the alley after you left the changing room. It would be to the left after you grab the key from the conference room behind the office. Perfect if you took the iMak first and is looting the office room last.
- One is in the mainhall when you first go to the 1st floor where to the left would be the office and to the right would be the exit.
With these tips, you should be able to have the perfect jailbreak from the police station in Thief Simulator 2 complete with the iMak set and other loots!
