Bosses in video games have always been the most challenging enemies there is, they’re the big boss after all. It’s a trope that players know all too well, a giant health bar, a difficult challenge and hits that feel like they threw a skyscraper at you are things to expect from bosses. Some bosses have special arena mechanics that you need to keep an eye on and sometimes they’re crucial in defeating the boss. Then there are bosses where they’re so big that they’re the arena themselves, and the boss in this guide fits that bill. In this guide we’ll show you how to deal with the God of the Fools.
God Of The Fools Boss Fight Guide For Thymesia
There are some bosses that are humanoid in nature, or at least isn’t too big for you to handle. These bosses can be tricky since they’re usually quick and agile. Not only that but some of them can be quicker than you’ll ever be. Then there’s some bosses that are so big that it takes 3 calendars for them to attack, but when they do it’ll sure send you back 3 calendars from the damage. This is one of those bosses that are huge, and a huge pain as well.
Once you’ve entered the area you can’t miss him. He’s a giant god in the middle of the arena. What you’ll want to do is quickly move to the big yellow tumor that’s blocking your way. You need to attack and destroy it quickly since there’s poison around it.
You’ll then need to go past the orange fog of poison by doing dashes to move faster. If you just go through it normally, you’ll die. Use the gaps in the fog with trash enemies in it to get a breather. At the end is another tumor you need to kill, be careful since there’s enemies in the fog as well. Lure them into the area without the fog and kill them.
Once you’ve finished off that tumor you can then go to the ladder nearby. This will get you to the second level where a series of other tumors are there waiting for you to kill them.
Remember that the boss will always try to put poison gas around the area he’s in so if he’s doing that, take cover in the side platforms away from the tumors until he stops and continue on. Another great way to minimize your exposure to the cloud is to do feather attacks on the tumors before jumping in and killing it with melee.
There are also a lot of mobs around here so keep that in mind, although you can skip most of them except for the ones guarding the tumors. Once you’ve destroyed the last one you can go to the ladder that will lead you to the third level that has the last tumor guarded by 3 enemies, one is standing while the other two will attack once you destroy it.
After clearing that there will be another ladder that will get you to the last level. You’ll get a cinematic that will kill the boss.
