Tier List Reasoning

Our rankings on this tier list are based heavily on investment relative to strength. As we mentioned before, you want effective low-investment builds as your league starter. The stronger the character is without investment, the higher they are in our tier list. It’s as simple as that!

This is also why we have Heroes like Tide Whisper Selena and Frosftfire Gemma (Ice-Fire Fusion) lower on our list. They are strong, don’t get us wrong, especially for the endgame. However, they require very high investment to build properly, so they make for poor league starters.

As for the top-tier starters, Iris and Youga are particularly excellent currently with both of their Traits. They’ve both received nice changes to their kits this season. Iris has more Spirits to play with while Youga received a substantial buff to the scaling on his Mind Control Skill. Tagging along with them in the top tier is Berserker Rehan with his Anger Trait. As always, he’s an easy-to-play and straightforward Hero for anyone who wants a low-investment melee playstyle.

So there you have it, that’s our tier list for the best starter Heroes for SS7: Season of Arcana in Torchlight Infinite. In summary, the higher a Hero is on the list, the better they are when playing a low-investment starter build.

Do you wish to use Vigilant Breeze Iris as your league starter? After all, she’s the newest Hero and ranks highly on our list! Check out our SS7 leveling guide for Vigilant Breeze Iris.
