The Roblox game Tower Defense X allows you to build all sorts of structures, towers, farms and more to defend against hordes of enemies. This tower game also consists of mechanics that can get really complicated and deep, allowing you to create all sorts of unique setups. In this way, players can defend against enemies in a way that suits their playstyle.

Farming is a crucial aspect of Tower Defense X. It can get extremely complicated with so many ways in which you can upgrade your farm. Not to worry, we have you covered.

How To Farm Guide

Farms consist of two paths that you can upgrade, with each path having a maximum of 5 upgrades. You can mix and match upgrades.

This results in a path being blocked if you exceed 3 upgrades in the other path. Additionally, each path provides a unique effect, which revolves around gaining money or health.

So, if there is a farm which has the first path upgraded twice, and the second path being upgraded twice, this would be known as a LVL 2-2 Farm. We will be talking about a variety of numbered farms like this in this guide.

Best Value For Money

Starting off, we will be talking about the farm that provides the best value for money. This does not mean that you are getting the most money, but rather the value you are getting for the money you spend in upgrading.

In this case, it is the LVL 0-3 Farm that will provide you the best value. Doing some math, you spend about $4400 to get this farm, and it makes you $875 per wave. In this way, you can make your money back in just about 5 waves, which is incredible value.

Best Farms

Now, we will discuss the best farms that do not just look at the money you are getting, but rather other aspects. These are the LVL 2-3 Farms and LVL 3–2 Farms. There is a major difference between each of these farms, as you can tell from how they look.

The LVL 3-2 Farm is mainly for health, so even though it provides only $670 per wave, you are obtaining some crucial health. On the other hand, the LVL 2-3 Farm provides you with great value. You can even convert it to a LVL 2-4 farm, to get $1445 per Wave and GDA funding, if you need it.

If you’re focused entirely on health, you can also go for the LVL 5-0 or LVL 5-2 farm. While this farm provides you really poor value for money, it gives you 100 HP per crate which is pretty decent.

We highly recommend that you go for the LVL 3-2 and LVL 2-3 farm types. However, you should choose them based on your needs. A LVL 3-2 Farm is great for health with decent money gain, while a LVL 2-3 Farm is great for getting money and getting some other advantages from the other path.

Farms To Avoid

There are certain farms that may seem like a good idea initially, but they should be avoided. Firstly, you should avoid starting off with a LVL 2-0 Farm if you are going money value. Instead, you should form a LVL 0-3 farm, before you consider upgrading the other branch.

The worst farm by far is the LVL 4-2 Farm. This is because it takes you 18 waves for you to gain the money you invested into it, which is definitely not worth it.

The LVL 2-5 Farm is also incredibly worst for value even though you do make the most money out of it. It takes more than 6 waves for you to make your money back, which is long considering the money you are putting in. You can utilize this money in a better way for other farms.
