Tower Defense X is an action-packed Roblox experience where you have to fend off wave after wave of enemies, but with various twists from the usual tower defense formula, as certain enemies have special abilities and can even straight up kill your towers.

With that in mind, there is a lot of grinding to be done in the game, particularly when it comes to the in-game currency. Here’s one method to grind for it!

Solo Intermediate Mode Grind Guide & Strategy (Victory No Speed Boost)

For this strategy, you will only need the Operator and the Missile Trooper towers. Once you have those two unlocked, you are ready to take on Intermediate Mode.

At the start of the game, simply place two Operators in the center of the first portion of the map, just ahead of the entrance. This will last you for several waves as long as you level them up constantly.

By around Wave 10, you should be able to place one Missile Trooper on the elevated platform beside where you placed the Operators. Keep adding more of them on this platform as you get more money, and don’t forget to upgrade them.

By around Wave 23 and onwards, start placing Missile Troopers on the cliffs ahead of the path, just behind where the Operators are. This will help you deal with whatever gets past the initial set of towers.

Also, don’t forget to have fully upgraded path 2 Operators before the 33rd wave, as this will help you deal with infiltrators.

Also, in preparation for Waves 30 and 35, start placing down low-level Operators all over the map to act as bait for the enemies that can attack your towers. Doing this will protect your main damage dealers.

Before the Predator shows up (and the Eradicator later on), ensure that you have a lot of path 1 Missile Troopers scattered throughout the map to deal as much damage as possible to them.

At the final wave, just keep making more Missile Troopers and low level bait towers as you follow the Eradicator around until it dies. It should go down way before it reaches the exit.

That’s pretty much all you need to know to pass this game mode with just two towers in Tower Defense X. Now, get out there and start grinding up the in-game currency to unlock more towers!
