Players are always curious, they’re humans after all, and most of them try to find ways into the weirdest things in video games. Sometimes players try to find the quickest routes, like speed runners and often times they glitch the game to do so. Sometimes they even skip quests altogether or break sequences to get the fastest routes possible. In this guide we’ll show you how to get to Cetus Island in Tower of Fantasy before the story even sends you there!
How to Get To Cetus Island Before Story In Tower of Fantasy
Cetus island is a giant floating island that you can find near the start of the game. Throughout the story you’ll get access to this island and it’s a great jumping off point figuratively and literally to the rest of the area and the quest around. Though since it’s a great place to teleport to when you need something from the area, some people might want to get to that island and can’t wait for the story to pick up. That’s why we’ll show you how.
To the northeast of the Cetus Island is a great place to start.
The island has multiple wires that go from the ground to the island itself. And that’s the thing we’ll need to go on top of it. The best way to get up there is to use the wires from the northeast part of the island. Just hop on the wire and start climbing.
To make your life easier, before you attempt this you should get some permanent stamina boosts. Good thing for you we have a guide for that here: How To Increase Max Stamina In Tower Of Fantasy (Mighty Mushrooms).
At a certain point on the wire the angle gets quite steep, to continue you’ll need to climb up. You should do this while utilizing your jetpack to get a boost upwards.
Once you reach a point where you can see the bottom platforms of the island, climb to a place where you can easily jump and glide down into the platform.
When you get onto the platforms you can then use the angled pillars to go up.
Between the island proper and the metal parts below there is a small gap. Go around until you find a gap like the one on the image below.
To go through the gap, you’ll just need to crouch and wiggle your way through it. Do this by going left and right repeatedly while going forward. It takes a while but you can get through it easily.
Once you’re through you can just glide down to the white platforms until you get to a point where you can just boost upwards to get the island. Once you’re on top of the island remember to go to the Spacerift to get a fast travel point there.
Congratulations you now know how to go to the top of Cetus Island without progressing the story! Now go out there and try it yourself, also enjoy the view.
