Often games these days, especially games catered to a mobile audience, has a lot of redundant currencies. There’s the normal currency you get for buying items from NPC vendors, then there’s currency you get for quests, achievements, and so on and so forth. It gets quite confusing at times for new players on what’s the currency they actually need to keep an eye on. This is also a trick developers make to show that their game is not pay to win, like how Diablo Immortal sneakily made two currencies for rifts with one being free and difficult to get and one being easy to get with money. In Tower of Fantasy, there’s also a lot of currencies and Black Nucleus is one of them, in this guide we’ll show you how to use them.
How to Use Black Nucleus In Tower of Fantasy
Tower of Fantasy is a Gacha game, that means that you actually ‘roll’ for weapons and characters to be given to you. This may or may not be gambling depending on your country but I digress. Often Gacha games have different currencies for different Gachas that can give you different things, and in Tower of Fantasy that’s also true.
When you go to Special Orders that’s where you can see the banners for items and characters. Banners is just a term they use for sets of characters you can get from them, banners often rotate in and out making players wait if they want a certain character. In that menu on the lower right there’s actually a button that will switch you to using Black Nucleus, go click on that.
This is where you can spend your Black Nucleus. Although we all know it’s actually purple. Unlike spending gold nucleus which are much rarer and you can buy it with real world money, black nucleus rolls don’t guarantee anything. Often in Gacha games there’s a pity system, if you roll a certain amount, you’re guaranteed a certain rarity. Not here, so keep that in mind.
