Type Soul has a wonderful combat system, with all sorts of builds and combat styles that you can use. While there is a full-fledged PvE world available, players can also participate in PvP battles. These fights are considered very difficult, since everyone is working to get to the top of leaderboards. If you’re struggling to win in PvP when playing Type Soul, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how you can start winning against other players. Let’s get into it!
How To Win in PVP Guide
To start winning games in the PvP mode of Type Soul, we recommend integrating the following tips and strategies:
- Play aggressively against players in Type Souls
- Choose the right build and skill tree for yourself
- Do not play predictably or you will get countered!
With PvP, it is important that you have the right abilities. Check out our Best Shikai and Bankai Tier List for more insights!
Play Aggressively
The best tip we can give you for winning PvP in Type Soul is playing aggressively. This means that you should spam your moves and combos on the enemy.
Do not give them even an inch, ensuring that you are absolutely overwhelming them.
A lot of players tend to play very idly because they rely on parrying the opponent. This is the wrong way to play as you give other PvP players time to think and do damage to you.
Parrying is certainly important – but combos and aggression are much more important.
Alongside playing aggressively, we recommend that you use infinity or true combos. This means that you should empty out your two bars on the enemy.
Do not give the opponent any respect. If you keep this in mind, you’ll find that you’ll start climbing up the leaderboards in Type Soul PvP fast!
Select the Right Skill Tree
While your play style is certainly essential, having the right skill tree and build is just as important. The skill trees will provide you with certain bonuses that will help improve and strengthen your play style.
But how do you go about with the skill trees in Type Soul?
Starting off, we recommend that you go with the Kendo Skill tree. This is because this skill tree is built around 1v1 and boss raids. It also works well for beginners. So if you’re unsure what to go for and have some skill, you should with the Kendo Skill Tree.
Hakuda is also a great skill tree for PvP but only for skilled players. If you aren’t a skilled player yet, then we recommend avoiding this skill tree. This is because this skill tree does not suit some players.
For Quincy Players, Kido is a great option too. Quite a few players consider Quincy Kido to be the best combination for PvP in Type Soul that can beat any one.
We also recommend going with the Speed skill tree – especially if you are a beginner. It is by far the best skill for beginners because of how simple it is to use.
You can also use it to play aggressively too – which is something we mentioned earlier in the guide. Additionally, we recommend getting Bankai, Full Res and Volt as this can also help with your build!
Do Not Be Predictable
While playing aggressively is recommended for PvP, you should make sure that you are not predictable. Many players end up spamming their moves, but do it so predictable that they always end up getting countered or parried.
In particular, this tends to happen when using M1 attacks. We strongly recommend that you do not use the M1 more than once. Instead, try to include other attacks like M2s and abilities to throw off other players.
Another way to remove predictability is to slow down some of your attacks. This means delaying some of your moves. For example, after you do your M1, delay your M2 by just a bit. Your opponent will end up blocking too early to parry.
Since parry windows are so small, you can punish them and inflict a lot of damage with your combos!
That’s everything you need to know about getting wins in the PvP mode of Type Soul. By integrating these tips and strategies, you’ll find that you’re getting a lot more wins than normal.
