Type Soul is a Bleach-inspired Roblox game that lets you choose between three factions: Quincy, Shikigami (Soul Reaper), or Hollows. Or like other anime Roblox games, you also get to choose to be various characters as you fight bosses, and enemies and earn rewards.

New Looting System Explained & Points
Roblox: Type Soul Developers have made some new changes in the game’s looting system in terms of points and rewards. These changes are worth understanding to help you make the most of the game and master this new system early on.
The big change mainly involves the game’s Point System. Here is everything you need to know.
Point system
It’s important to note that the new looting system only applies to Arena and Ranked matches in the game. Therefore, fighting bosses to farm will earn you the same loot as before the upgrade.
The big change is that instead of rerolls, you get credits/points every time you win a ranked battle or an arena. You can then use these points to reroll for either accessories or essences.
If you take a look at the image above, you’ll see the chances of obtaining that item shown in percentage next to the respective item.
The items at the top have a higher rarity and as you go lower, the items get less rare. Similarly, different categories of items cost a certain amount of tokens to roll. Here is the category list and how many rolls each category of items cost.
- Cosmetic Rerolls: 3 Rolls
- Essences Rerolls: 15 rolls
- Utility: 5 Rolls
- Money: 5 rolls
- Accessories: 10 rolls
- Other Rerolls: 5 rolls
Pros and Cons:
Here are some pros and cons of the new update.
- Pro: the good part about this system is that you’re guaranteed to get the category of the item you roll for. Previously, you had no hand in which category you wanted (ie. utility, essences, money) and would get a reward from any one of these at random, but that’s no longer the case.
- Con: the con is that the new system is more of a grind. In the previous system, players would receive five types of rewards upon completing a match. Now they are required to save up to 5 to 15 points for a single item.
Considering you get to choose an item you currently need makes the update worth it!
