Anime World Tower Defense just fixed the Frame Sorcerer’s (Naobito Zenin) evolution requirements and players are excited about the new updates to this unit’s kit. Now that it’s easier to level this character up, you might be inclined to give the UR+ Frame Sorcerer a spot on your team rotations. UR+ Frame Sorcerer Guide
With the new changes to Frame Sorcerer, there’s a bit of ground to cover. I discuss the evolution requirement, skills, and team dynamic of this unit in this guide.
Evolution Requirements
You won’t need a duplicate of this unit to level him up anymore. This was a huge problem for players due to the RNG-based summoning system of the game. Now, players just need the following to evolve UR+ Frame Sorcerer:
- Gold – 500K

- Green Orb – 7.5K
- Demonic Heart – 5
- Wisteria – 2
- Hollow Shard – 7
- Secret Crystal – 15K
- Spirit – 550
These items are a lot easier to get than hoping that the RNG gives you another copy of this unit. Just accomplish missions and events to gain these items as rewards.
Additionally, the new battle pass offers a new Frame Sorcerer skin. You can get the Frame Sorcerer (Fighter) skin in tier 20 of the SS3 New Year Festival battle pass.
Stats and Skills
Once you evolve your Frame Sorcerer, this unit’s stats become remarkably better. This unit becomes a critical unit capable of potentially dealing x2.5 damage and true damage.
Here are the skills this unit gets per upgrade:
- Frame Impact (Line) – Achieved at upgrade 3
- 24 Frame Dash (AoE) – Achieved at upgrade 6
At Upgrade 6, Frame Sorcerer becomes a full AoE character while still being a critical unit. This means that this unit can drop precise hits over a huge area to damage enemies on the battlefield.
Best Teams & Placement
There’s no limit to the combinations of characters you can use with Frame Sorcerer, but some teams are better than others. In general, you want support characters who can keep this unit in the best form to deal damage.
Units like Shining Star Idol and Flower Magician are currently in the support meta and can help increase Frame Sorcerer’s range and attack by x2.25.

In a battle, Frame Sorcerer is best positioned in the middle of the map. When buffed by Shining Star Idol and Flower Magician, this unit can deal big numbers from far away, making it a formidable AoE Critical unit.
