Nobody likes crashes and annoying issues that you might experience while enjoying your favorite game no matter what this game is. That is why we are united in the battle against errors and are here to help you with your problems. In this guide, we are going to help you fix the Error Code VAN 1067. Let’s get started.
How To Fix Error Code VAN 1067 – Valorant
Trusted Platform Module – TPM
In most cases, this Error Code is showing up on your screen because of the Trusted Platform Module – TPM 2.0 if it is disabled. You should enable it in your BIOS settings when booting up or restarting your PC. Very important before you start doing this, is to make sure that your Windows 11 is fully updated and stable.
Open up your Windows Settings and then navigate to the Windows Update section.
This is what it should look like. If it will find an update it will need a stable Internet Connection to download it and then some extra time to actually install it. Depending on how big the update as it can require a restart of your PC too. If it is not looking for a restart, you will need to restart manually because only after a full re-boot they are completely installed and in use.
VGC Service
Make sure that the Vanguard VGC service is working properly on your PC. Write in your Windows Search Bar Services. Then you will see a whole list of all Local Services that are available on your PC.
On this very window, you will select any Service and then type VGC. This is how you’ll find the VGC service located on the service list(saving you a lot of time).
You will then right-click the service and select the Properties Tab.
In the general section of this new panel, you will need to make sure that the Startup Type is set to Automatic.
Then you will press on the Start button right below the highlighted area in the picture above. This will get the VGC service to start working. You will wait for a while before Windows will attempt to activate it. Then just press Apply and OK when you are finished with this.
This will start the Riot Vanguard process and can prevent the error if Secure Boot and TPM is enabled on your PC.
Are they activated or not?
To find out if the TPM service and the Secure Boot are actually activated or not on your machine you will need to search for System Information in your Windows Search Bar.
This will then open a big window and now you can preview all of your BIOS and other system information as well. Under System Summary you will see if your system is set to UEFI and that the Secure Boot state is on.
These BIOS settings can vary from motherboard to motherboard or even manufacturer. So make sure to look up your PC and then check on up how to check your BIOS Settings. Look up your specific PC build and Enable Secure Boot as well as TPM 2.0 after restarting your PC.
