We recently got a new addition in Valorant—a brand new map by the name of Pearl. It has lots of strategies and tactics that are being developed every day, but there are also a lot of mistakes that players have been repeating. Let’s see what is the best way of getting that easy win.

Pearl Map Complete Guide – Valorant

First of all, something that a lot of players are doing wrong, is planting the bomb on the B site at this location. Players assumed that the barrier that you cannot shoot through is a natural defense for planting here, but they are wrong.

The reason is that you might get some defense from that box, but the post-plant is going to be awful. The attackers will most likely come from B long making that the Defuser will be out of sight and safe while defusing the bomb. And plus, to get around them and get behind the diffuser, you’ll need to cross all the way from B short, which is a long way.

Viper is one of the most needed characters on this map, and especially on the B site. Without his wall, there are way too many angles to check as you enter the site. Meaning you’ll have to push deep inside enemy territory, or use smokes a lot to control the angles.

Brimstone always comes in handy, let’s be honest. So taking him on this map for covering all of the 3 angles on the B site also comes as a welcome agent. Even double smoke agents are a bigger plus!

Midcontrol is going to be wild, and extremely important. Almost every game there are 4-5 people fighting for mid-control. Once you have Mid as an attacker, stop pushing. There it is. Do not push where you’ll be expected and the positioning is extremely in the defender’s favor.

How to Win the Pearl Map in Valorant

Getting into the enemy’s spawn is nice, but it’s not as valuable as getting your team killed, because really, you’ll just be expected to come from there and the angles are very tight. Think of this mid like the Icebox map mid. It’s the same.

Breach is a meta agent for Pearl. He can take critical parts of the map very easily through his stuns and flashes that can go around corners. The ability to stop a rush, because people might start skipping the mid-lane completely and make a full 5-player run on A or B, makes Breach an even more wanted agent on Pearl.

Kale, Fade, and Skye are also very valuable on Pearl. They are very good initiators and something that will come in handy in those tight chokepoints. Especially for clearing all of those cramped pathways that are everywhere.

Raze is a good choice too. The Boombot and Paint Shells are very valuable for clearing important corners and angles. Sage is extremely important too. Especially in ranked she comes in high usage because of the walling of the flanks that can be done.

Huge credit and a big thank you goes to Valorant Ascended. He went into detail about all the possibilities and strategies that are needed on this map. You can check out his YouTube channel here.
