The Black Diamonds are very, very rare in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. And they’re essential to proceed in the game, particularly around late game areas. Finding Black Diamonds is a lot different compared to most ores in the game that you can mind endlessly through the dungeons and floors.
Where To Find Black Diamonds
Currently, the best way to find Black Diamonds is by finding Orc lords in Goblin camps. They have big chests that store a lot of precious stones, including the Black Diamonds.
They do not respawn nor do the chest resets in anyway, so you will have to travel and explore a lot if you need more.
Alternatively, smaller camps do sometimes have them. The locked orc chests can be unlocked from the key you get by breaking the effigy nearby. But they’re a lot rarer to spawn a Black Diamond than the ones guarded by the bigger orcs.
This means you’re going to have to save them up for really important uses only, like upgrading your pickaxe. It’ll take time until you can freely craft travel stones.
And that’s how you can find Black Diamonds in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria!
