God of War Ragnarok has been out for a while now and in its first week it sold more than a million copies. The game is a masterpiece for most people that played it and we can’t blame them, the game is amazing. It tells a continuation of the Norse saga with Kratos and it also ends the saga at the end of the game. With that end a lot of people are wondering where the game goes next, what kind of story are we going to get in the future and so on. Let’s see what we know about the next God of War game.
Everything We Know | Will The Next God Of War Be Set In Egypt?
God of War Ragnarok’s release hasn’t even gotten close to the 2 month mark and people are already wondering where the next one is going to be. The latest game was the ending of the Norse Saga and with it a lot of players are wondering which pantheon Kratos is going to meet next. There are even memes of Kratos meeting the Christian pantheon and being forgiven by Jesus himself and as much as the memes are funny we don’t think the two will meet any time soon.
The developers of the game has not stated yet which is the next title going to be, or if there’s already one in development. What we do know is that there are a lot of hints of other pantheons in the world of God of War.
We all know that Atreus will be looking for the giants, the question is where will they be? Will the next game focus on him? Will Kratos join in somehow?
It’s also shown that in the Dark Horse Comics that Kratos at one point went to Egypt, as he commented that the place was far but familiar and that the people there feared him. This could very well be a setting that the developers can come back to.
So far we don’t have solid proof on when or where the next game will be, what we do know is that the fans are still asking for more and hopefully the developers will deliver!
