We all know how much of a fun game Deep Rock Galactic is in multiplayer. A lot of players know how great the community of that game is compared to others in the same genre. Their newest game is out, and a lot of people are wondering if it’s still multiplayer.
The new game which is Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is akin to the famous Vampire Survivor game but set in the DRG universe. You’re a dwarf and your job is to survive for as long as possible while fighting a horde of bugs!
We’ll see if the new game actually has multiplayer built into it just like their first game. It’s always fun playing with friends after all!
Will There Be Multiplayer?
With the massive success of their multiplayer game Deep Rock Galactic, what about their second game in the same universe? The developers have stated that the game will not be multiplayer. They’re currently focusing on delivering a great single-player experience.

This might be a bit of a letdown for DRG players who wanted to try the game out, but don’t worry. There’s still a lot of fun content that you can go through in DRG: Survivor. The developers are working hard to make it as interesting in single-player as possible.
Sadly, we won’t have any multiplayer in the near future of the game but who knows, maybe someone will mod it in? If the game goes well the developers might even add it in the future, only time will tell.
For now, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor will be a single-player experience. You’ll have to deal with the endless bug horde on your own, but at least you don’t have to share resources! Having trouble selecting a class mod in the game? Here’s a guide on how to fix the ‘unable to select class mod’ bug!
