As a new game that came out late on the 19th of this month and was announced for June 2021, all problems should’ve been solved, but it is not exactly like that. Even now, problems with black screen, fatal error, crash on lounge and others can appear. How can we fix this then?

Fix Black Screen, Fatal Error, Crash On Launch & Infinite Loading: Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

First of all, let’s pay attention to whether you meet the minimum requirements to play this game at all. We will list them below.

MINIMUM
CPUIntel Core i5-7300U
Memory8GB RAM
Graphics CardIntel(R) HD Graphics 620
Screen Resolution1280 x 720

Due to a lack of administrative rights, you may face the problem when loading the game. Right-click on the game itself and in Properties go to the Run This Game as an administrator option.

Then, check if Windows Defender is crashing the game by detecting a file as a virus.

To solve this problem, you must select this game as an exception to this setting, to be precise, turning off the antivirus for this game.

The next option is to click on Windows key + R. Once opened, type DHDiag and press OK. Then, after turning on DirectX Diagnostic Tool, select the Display tab.

Also, check your CPU and GPU drivers which may cause game crashes if they need to be updated.

If you are missing a game file an error may occur and you may have a problem with loading the game.

Steam has an easy solution to this. Go to Steam and go to Library then right-click on Yu-Gi-Oh to go to Properties.

Navigate to the Local Files tab and click Verify Integrity of Game Files. If you have a black screen, it may be useful to turn the game off and on again. Take note that this destroys progress in the game but this may be your only solution.

Then, while playing the game press the Alt and Tab keys to exit the game. Press the Alt and Tab again to return to the game.

Also, if you are constantly facing these problems try to play the game in windowed mode by pressing Alt and Enter at the same time.

To return to full screen, also press Alt and Enter. In addition, consider reinstalling the game if none of this helps.

But in any case, one of the above fixes should solve your problem.
