The First Descendant has a brand new season which adds all sorts of new content to the game. This includes the new Void Vessel farming levels that you can use to get new loot. We also have a brand new powerful weapon in the form of the Voltia.
The Voltia is a weapon that works really well in Void Vessel runs. Want to make the most out of this weapon in your runs. In this guide, we’ll look at a variety of different builds that you can use for the Voltia when farming. Let’s dive in!
Best Voltia Builds for Void Vessels
The Voltia is a brand new weapon that is accessible through the new Season 2 battle pass of The First Descendant. It works really well for void vessels as you can shoot a continuous beam that can arc off other enemies and also deal AoE damage.
If you’re still not sure how void vessels work, our ultimate void vessels guide has you covered!
With that said, we’ll be looking at 3 Voltia Builds you can use in Void Vessels.
Seasonal Buff
The main reason the Voltia is so powerful is because of the seasonal buff that the Voltia gives you. When you go into the Inversion Reinforcement menu, you’ll see a Season tab.
The second of these seasonal buffs is Photon Stacking. On hitting 3 or more enemies with the Voltia, you get +12.8% Firearm ATK and +16% Beam Rifle Charging Speed for 10s.
Arcing three or more enemies is really easy, so get tons of shield damage with the Voltia. This makes it really suitable for skill builds when your skill is on cooldown. You can use the Voltia to damage the skill shields instead when needed.
Void Vessel Gley Build
The first build that we have is the Void Vessel build specifically for Gley. Here are the mods that you’ll be using:
- Mental Focus
- Get max mental charge with the infinite ammo buff
- Action and Reaction
- Weak Point Detection
- Insight Focus
- Superconductivity Charge
- Great for arcing and spreading
- Better Insight
- Charge Amplification
- Rifling Reinforcement
- Fire Rate Up
- Weak Point Sight.
After placing the mods, you should have the following stats:
- Firearm ATK – 12.2%
- Bonus ATK vs Legion of Darkness – 3972
- Crit Strike Chance – 4747
- Crit Strike Damage – 36.8%.
With Gley, your focus is going to be mainly on the Crit aspect and weak point damage. On top of that, the boss and most of the enemies in the Void Vessels are Legion of Darkness. So the additional ATK you get will definitely help.
General Build
If you don’t want to run an elemental build, there is a generic Volita build that you can run. Here are the mods that you’ll be using:
- Mental Focus
- Get max mental charge with the infinite ammo buff
- Action and Reaction
- Recycling Genius
- Reload Insight
- Superconductivity Charge
- Great for arcing and spreading
- Expand Weapon Charge
- Charge Amplification
- Rifling Reinforcement
- Fire Rate Up
- Weapon Tuning.
Additionally, here are the notable stats you should be getting from this build:
- Firearm ATK – 12.2%
- Bonus ATK vs Legion of Darkness – 3972
- Electric ATK – 1986
- Crit Strike Damage – 36.8%.
Elemental Beam Build
There are some really cool builds that you can also run with the new battle proficiency mod setups. This is due to the new battle proficiency beam exclusive mods. Here are the mods you need overall for this build:
- Mental Focus
- Get max mental charge with the infinite ammo buff
- Action and Reaction
- Expand Weapon Charge
- Electric Enhancement
- Superconductivity Charge
- Great for arcing and spreading
- Reload Insight
- Charge Amplification
- Rifling Reinforcement
- Fire Rate Up
- High Voltage Plasma.
Here are the notable stats you should be getting from this build:
- Firearm ATK – 12.2%
- Bonus ATK vs Legion of Darkness – 3972
- Electric ATK – 1986
- Crit Strike Damage – 36.8%.
The star of the show here is the High Voltage Plasma mod which is a beam rifle exclusive battle proficiency yellow mod. As long as you do not miss your targets for any hits, it continues to build up more electric attack and damage output.
It also helps shred the defense or targets. So, the longer you use it, the more damage you will deal. On top of that, it also won’t conflict with Mental Focus so that will work really well.
So with these stats, this build is possibly the strongest of the Voltia builds for Void Vessels. You can even use it for Gley as long as you remove some mods and add those that help boost your Crit.
That’s everything you need to know for the Best Voltia Builds for Void Vessels in the First Descendant. We strongly suggest you do get the Voltia as it is one of the better battle pass weapons. It will help you shred the shields that can get so annoying in Void Vessels!
