Sometimes you just need a friend to have your back in a video game or make things worse depending on the mood. There’s not a lot of co-op games these days so it’s nice to have the option even if it’s a bit janky for some games. In Remnant 2, you can play co-op yourself and with a friend just as long as you know how to. They don’t really teach you how so it’s a bit confusing for some people.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to invite your friends in your Remnant 2 game. It’s a fairly easy process depending on the system you’re on. Now, let’s see how the to get your friend in the same game!
Co-Op Guide
Before you go inviting your friends in the game, you should know that you can’t invite them at the very start. You’ll need to progress through the story first, past the tutorial section. You’ll know you’re past that point if you have a notification saying you can now invite your friends.
Inviting your friends in the game can be either easy or difficult depending on where you’re playing the game. If you’re playing in PC you can go to the in-game main menu and under the System tab, make sure your Game Session is set to Public. After that you can then click on the Friends button to show all your friends that have the game.
Now all you need to do is click the plus icon at the right side of their names to invite them. When they accept, they’ll go to your world.
If you’re playing on the console though, you might run into some trouble. Sometimes when you do this your friends won’t appear, or they just don’t go to your world. Some players have reported that inviting friends through the main menu of the game and not in-game works for them while others can’t.
The game is still in Early Access so it’s understandable that they’re going through these problems. Hopefully in the future they’ll make inviting friends seamless and bug-free with the next updates.
