In Remnant 2, players can choose different Archetypes to change or improve their play style. It’s basically a class system like any other RPG game. Giving players more options in terms of how they want to build their character and role.
In this article, I will show you how to unlock the Invader Archetype. Also, you must have the Dreamcatcher in order to unlock the Invader Archetype. I will include the guide on how to get the Dreamcatcher.

How To Get The Dreamcatcher
The Dreamcatcher is a unique weapon that enables the user to harvest the dreams of certain creatures or Gods in the game. Now, the Dreamcatcher is essential for unlocking the Invader Archetype, and here’s how you can find it.
- Morrow Parish – Reach the Morrow Parish in Losomn by rerunning the campaign if you’ve already completed the story. Play through the story until you reach the Morrow Asylum.
- Finding 3 Dolls – Inside the Asylum are 3 hidden dolls that you need to find in order to progress in the story. The pictures below show the location of each doll and the exact location on the minimap. Also, you’ll need to kill a boss in the backyard to enter the third floor.
- Prison Cell – Head back to the basement and at the end you will see a prison door that you can interact with. A woman inside will give you a doll called Nightweaver Stone Doll. However, you must follow this line of conversation to receive the doll: “How’d you get locked in there?“, “I have something of yours.“, and “Are these your sculptures? [Give Dolls]“.
- Soulkey Tribute – Just continue with the story until a certain event happens. In this event, a banshee will be seen in the Gilded Chambers and you’ll find a dead body with the Soulkey Tribute. Once you have this item, head back to the Asylum.
- Acquiring the Dreamcatcher – Head to the basement of the Asylum where a strange web can be found. Interact with the web and use the Soulkey Tribute to open the Tormented Asylum. To acquire the Dreamcatcher, head to the second room at the end of the hallway.
How To Unlock the Invader Archetype
Now that you have the dreamcatcher, it’s time to unlock the Invader Archetype by following the steps listed below.
- Root Earth Corrupted Harbor – Fast-travel to Root Earth and enter the Corrupted Harbor. Go to the section of the Cargo ship and you will find a hidden location as shown in the picture below.
- Escalation Protocol – Using your Dreamcatcher, interact with the mushroom-looking thing at the center of the hidden room to acquire the Escalation Protocol.
- Defeating Bane – Use the Escalation Protocol by equipping it in your hotkey. Once you use the item, it will teleport you to another dimension where you need to kill Bane. Killing Bane will give you a Wooden Shiv that you’ll use to craft Invader Archetype.
- Invader Archetype – Now that you have the Wooden Shiv, head back to Ward 13. Talk to Wallace and use the item you got from Bane to craft the Invader Archetype.
That’s all you need to do in order to acquire the Invader Archetype. However, you’ll only get the archetype if you have already unlocked the Dreamcatcher. The weapon is important for acquiring all the necessary items for crafting the Invader Archetype.
