Joining Factions in game usually needs you to do some grunt work before you can actually do anything for them. That’s why in Fire Force Online, you’ll need to do a few things to actually join the Fire Force. This includes increasing your reputation and doing a test to show that you’re worthy. The test part is actually the hardest part of the process!
In this guide, we’ll show you how to join the Fire Force in the game. One of the two factions that you can join. Now let’s see what you need to do!
How To Join Fire Force Guide
In Fire Force Online, there’s two factions that you can join. These two factions are the Fire Force and the White Clad and both of them have different ways of initiating new members to their team. Today we’ll be going through the process of joining the Fire Force faction.
These are all the steps we’ll be taking to join the Fire Force in the game:
- Do Missions until you’re a respected citizen.
- Talk to the NPC Xavier to get the get to the Fire Force HQ.
- Talk to the Examiner in Fire Force HQ and join the Fire Force Exam.
- Do the Memory Test.
- Do the Fruit Test.
- Defeat the Infernal Demon for the Final Test.
- Once you defeat the demon you’ll be part of the Fire Force!

Detailed Walkthrough
When you first start the game and create your character, you’ll spawn in the city map. You can’t really join any of the factions in the game right at the start because you’ll need to work with the game’s reputation system.
Around the city are NPCs with exclamation points on top of their head. Those are the NPCs that you’ll want to talk to. They’ll give you some quests and depending on the quest it’ll give you good or bad karma. If you want to join the Fire Force Faction, you’ll want to do good karma quests, so anything that involves bad acts like mugging or killing shouldn’t be accpeted.
The more you do the good karma quests the higher your reputation is. You can see the level of your karma on the lower left, once you get “Respected Citizen” you can join the Fire Force.
To do so, you’ll want to go talk to the NPC called Xavier near the fountain area shown below. He’ll show you where you can go to get to the Fire Force HQ via a waypoint.
Once you’re in the general area of the Fire Force HQ you’ll want to go to the very back building and talk to the Examiner NPC. He’ll ask if you want to turn on the notifications for the Fire Force Exam, say yes so you’ll be notified when the next one will be.
When the exam starts you’ll be teleported to the area for the Exam. The Exam actually has a few parts, the first one being a simple memory quiz. The Examiner will tell you something about himself and he’ll ask you questions about it afterwards.
The second test is that there will be 3 fruits that will spawn behind the Examiner. You’ll have to find the 3 fruits and give it to him. You can only pick up one at a time and if you pick the wrong one you’ll have to give it to him to remove it from your hand.
The last part is to fight an Infernal Demon which is the most difficult part of the test. This is where most solo players have a tough time doing the test. It’s best to do the test with a group or with friends.
Once you defeat the Infernal Demon, you’ll be part of the Fire Force! Now you can go out and do missions for them or grip the enemy faction members!
