Sometimes when you have too many people joining in on the fun in Starfield, you tend to misplace a few souls here and there. However, that doesn’t mean that once you lose sight of a companion they’re gone forever. Starfield thought ahead to a certain extent and made sure that you’ll be able to locate your companions and crew members anytime you feel like they’re no longer with you.

If you haven’t figured out how to find your space faring buddies yet then stick around, read the guide, and get them back before they run out of oxygen. Don’t worry, that last bit won’t happen. Probably.

How to Find Lost Companions & Crew Members

Start with opening your quest log and make your way to the Activity tab. Right now ours is pretty clean since we don’t leave our companions unattended, that or we don’t have any to begin with.

What you’ll be looking for here however if you’re looking for someone is a task namedRetrieve Your Companion.”

Set that as your active task so that the game will track it for you. Naturally, the distance will vary depending on where you left them.

Keep your eye on the blue hexagon floating on your HUD to track your companions down easily. Turn off any other task you have at the moment, so you won’t end up getting lost yourself!
