Melee Souljade Tier List

There are a lot of different Melee Souljades for the different melee weapons in the game. Most of them change up certain moves from slight changes to animation to full on overhauls and different moves.

Of course, the position of these souljades in the Tier list are subjective and one can be good or bad depending on many factors. This Tier list is made by PsyclopsKD a regular content creator for the game. Now let’s see where he places all of these Souljades in the Tier list.

S – Tier

  • All Weapon Saps — Always a must have since it lets you recover health and armor.
  • Assassin’s Lunge — Changes the dagger’s dash attack to a lunging one. It deals a bit more hit stun and can be used for a guaranteed uppercut making it easy to deal a lot of damage.
  • Benthic Descent — Changes the dual halberd’s vertical follow-up after a horizontal charge. It deals more hit stun and gives more possibility for combos dealing more damage.
  • Blistering Edge — Changes the charged attack of the polesword to a fast 1 hit ranged attack that deals burn as well. It’s hard to parry this move and it deals a lot of damage.
  • Dragon Roar — Changes the Nunchuck’s Dragon Flurry attack by giving it range. It can be great a stun locking enemies but the beginning can be parried. It’s best to look away for the first few strikes and then turn to the enemy to avoid that.
  • Hepta-Detach — Changes the longsword’s horizontal charged attack to have a follow up that holds an enemy in place, damage them and heals your health or armor. It heals for 4x the damage it does.
  • Merciless Havoc — Alters the vertical strikes of the form of Rising Cloud for the Staff to get more range. It also pushes the enemy back at the end which makes it great for tying down enemies in a group.
  • Phoenix Blast — Charged attacks with the longsword now unleashes two blasts of sword energy instead of one.
  • Pride’s Fall — Adds a second stage move to the dagger’s charged horizontal attack. Makes you grab the opponent, jump up and slams the enemy to the ground. It also heals you on the final hit.
  • Trigger — Using horizontal block with Nunchucks no longer uses Biding Fury. It can also be used on ranged attacks making this a must have.
  • Velocity Untold — Changes the charged horizontal attack of the Nunchucks making it deal a little bit less damage but making it way harder to parry. Combine it with Trigger and mastering both can make you a dangerous opponent.

A – Tier

  • Assault Smolder — It changes the melee grappling attack to deal burn damage. This type of damage is great since you can reapply endlessly. It’s great for slippery and quick enemies.
  • Cavalry Bloom — changes the dual blades charged attack to the same motion but now you can move forward. You can also change direction and can be a great move to instill panic to the enemy.
  • Dragon Might — Changes the dual halberd’s charged horizontal attack to have a running attack first. It can be great to lock enemies down but can easily be parried.
  • Dreadful Wail — Adds to the dagger a dagger dash vertical attack that locks down an enemy while damaging them. It’s main use though is the kick attack that makes for a great movement skill that uses little stamina.
  • Earth Shaker — Changes the 3rd stage of a Greatsword’s charged attack to a spinning attack. Can be great for taking down single enemies and is best used fully charged and dropping on enemies.
  • Heart Stopper — Dragonslayer for spears now silences enemies hit. You can even get a follow-up attack if you miss to get a second chance to apply the silence.
  • Infernal Slash — Changes the greatsword’s 1st and 2nd stage charged horizontal attack to deal burn.
  • Jabbing — Changes the staff horizontal attack to a single strike that deals 5% more damage than the original. It’s fast and hard to parry.
  • The Overcomer — Changes the 3rd stage Polesword charged vertical attacks to you riding a horse and attacking forward. Can be stopped anytime by dodging or jumping and you can use that to do more combos.
  • Overlord — Stone form on the Greatsword and Polesword directly reaches max stack on one attack.
  • Razor Swift — Changes the Nezha’s Might’s attacks for the spear. It changes the attack to a wide horizontal attack that pulls enemies closer. It’s a great move for team mode.
  • Soul Slash — Changes the 2nd stage charged combo by making it more focused on the target. It also has a bigger range than the original.
  • Stanchion Sky Pillar — Changes the staff’s precise charged strike to silence enemies. It also makes it so you heal for 160% of the damage dealt. Silence is great since it stops enemies from using defensive skills.
  • Universe Slash — Changes dual blade’s 2nd charged vertical strike to a wide sweeping attack that’s great for groups. Remember that it can be parried any time during the throw.

B – Tier

  • Aerial Rend — Changes the greatsword charged vertical attack where it adds a shock wave at the end. It can be great for the reach of the shock wave but remember that it can be parried.
  • Nether Step — Makes it so dagger uses can chain multiple dagger dashes. It also lowers the stamina cost of Dagger dashing. This is great for adding more movement but not that amazing overall.
  • Ocean Parter — Changes the horizontal strikes under form of Rising Cloud for staves. It makes it into a repeatable short-range attack. It’s great when used in an unsuspecting enemy but can easily be parried.
  • Splitter — Changes the third horizontal strike of the dual blade’s combo. It’s a bit higher in damage but the attack makes it connect to the enemy sooner making it great.
  • Stamina Strike — Changes the Katana’s third strike combo into a two hit attack. It also heals you for 65% of the damage dealt.
  • Thunder Storm — Changes the Katana’s vertical strike thunderstrike attack to have more hits, range and damage. It can be easily parried though.
  • Warrior Pace — Lets you run at regular sprinting speed while holding a Greatsword horizontal charge. It’s not the best alone but can be great when combined with things like Earthshaker.
  • Whirling Slash — Changes the dual halberd’s third vertical attack combo to a one that locks opponents up and displacing them.

C – Tier

  • Abyssal Aura — Changes charged vertical attack into a ranged dagger throw. It can catch people off guard but the normal charged vertical is often better.
  • Dual Ring — Changes the third attack of the long-handle weapons horizontal chain to a wide sweeping attack. It’s a bit faster than the original and is great for groups of enemies.
  • Erudition — Changes the spear’s charged vertical attacks by adding additional hits. It can be parried throughout the attack animation.
  • Whirlwind — Changes the longsword uppercut to hit a larger area. It also increases the damage by 130% and can be combined with a charged vertical.

F – Tier

  • Blue Moon — Makes the third strike of a horizontal or vertical combo into a repeatable ranged attack. It is extremely easy to see and to parry making it a bad choice in solos.
  • Flying Kick — Changes the third horizontal attack of the Nunchucks to a flying kick attack. You can fake an opponent out to land this, but the animation makes it impossible to follow up. It is also slower than the original.

Those are all the Melee Souljades in Naraka Bladepoint and their position in the Tier List. Many thanks to PsyclopsKD for showing everyone his Tier List. Make sure to go check out his video on the subject for more details.
