Serai’s World Solstice Shrine Puzzle Solution

Serai’s World Solstice Shrine sits in the western part of Serai’s World, just south of Sacrosanct Spires. To reach the island, you’ll require Zale and Valere’s flying ability.

How to Open the Shrine

The first part of the puzzle involves manipulating sunlight and platform climbing. There are two diamond-shaped tracks near the light crystal that control nearby platforms.

The one on the left raises large blocks, while the one on the right moves small blocks into position.

In order to open the shrine, follow these steps:

1. Step onto the platform on the left side of the wall.
2. Shift the light to the left diamond track to raise the blocks
3. Shift the light to the right diamond track, then quickly jump right to the third block.
4. Wait for the larger blocks to fall again, then leap to the right-most block.
5. Shift the light to the left diamond track and hop over to the lever at the top of the wall.
6. Pull the lever to open the shrine.

How to Solve Shrine Puzzle

The grid by the entrance of the shrine is very important as it features two movable stones that is crucial in solving the puzzle. The stone’s placement on a tile impacts the shrine’s landscape. In order to navigate the shrine effectively, you need to adjust the stone positions to form pathways.

It is also important to note that you can interact with the gemstones scattered across the shrine to illuminate the surrounding area.

Follow these steps in order to finish the puzzle:

1. Climb the northern stairs and activate the device at the top, granting access to a 9 x 9 grid with blue barriers and movable stones.
2. Use the left rising platforms to head west, where you’ll discover another device.
3. This will raise a climbing wall.
4. Activating the device also will make a blue square disappear from the grid.
5. Position the sliding blocks in the bottom left and middle left quares of the grid.
6. Go across the floating platforms, and towards the upper left part of the shrine. Activate the device located here.
7. This will raise a climbing wall on the right side of the shrine.
8. And another to the left part of the shrine where you’re standing on.
9. Afterwards, move the sliding blocks to the middle left and middle squares of the grid.
10. Travel to the upper left part of the shrine once again. Go across the floating platforms and use your grappling hook to the climbing walls on the right part of the shrine.
11. Activate the device on the upper right part.
12. Doing this will remove a blue block from the grid.
13. Now, descend to the bottom right part of the shrine where you can activate another device.
14. This will remove another blue block from the grid.
15. Additionally, this also creates another climbing wall in the right part of the shrine.
16. Arrange the sliding blocks to the top left and middle left part of the grid.
17. You now need to go towards the uppermost part of the shrine’s left side. Activate the device located here.
18. Doing so will create a new third block in the grid.
19. Arrange the sliding blocks in the upper-left, upper middle, and middle left squares of the grid.
20. Ascend the room’s west side, utilizing handholds and rising platforms, to reach the chest.

Inside the chest lies the Celestial Ray accessory, enhancing Valere and Zale’s Magic Attack while replenishing 1 MP with each regular melee strike.
