Sea Of Stars – How To Get The True Ending | No God Of Mine & New Garl +

Unsatisfied with the ending of Sea Of Stars? Here is how to get the True Ending, as well as the “No God Of Mine” and “New Garl +” trophies.

Sea Of Stars has plenty of fun side missions and optional bosses to find, and that will lead you to the more satisfying true ending. If you didn’t like the original ending you got, don’t worry, you can still go back and play more side content to get the better ending. Let’s take a look at our guide to get the True Ending, No God Of Mine and New Garl+.

Note: If you haven’t finished the main story yet, there are spoilers ahead. You have been warned.

How To Get The True Ending | No God Of Mine & New Garl+  – Sea Of Stars

First, you will need to finish the main story. If you haven’t already, play and finish the game to see the original ending. Remember to save at the rest spot outside the Fleshmancer’s Lair, so you can return there after you’ve taken the boss down.

Once the boss is down and the game is finished, you will encounter a scene where you see seven stone pillars. One of them will be lit with purple light. To unlock the True Ending, you will need to illuminate the remaining six by doing a series of tasks.

Docarri Merchant’s Stone – Gather all 60 Rainbow Conches

This may sound crazy, but unfortunately it’s necessary.

There is a total of 60 Rainbow Conches spread all around the world, and you will need to collect each and every one of them. Some of them will be easy to find, and some will be hidden or harder to get. You can collect some from the yellow-and-blue chests, or get some as a reward from the side quests.

Once you collect 27 Rainbow Conches, go to Docarri Lake. You can turn your Rainbow Conches in for a parrot. If you do so, the parrot will tell you where the final conches that you need to collect are hidden. Once you have them all, turn all 60 Conches in to complete this task.

Seraï’s Stone – Defeat the Queen Who Was

You may have skipped this part in your first playthrough as it wasn’t necessary to complete, but to get to the True Ending, you are going to have to face the Queen Who Was. To find her, you’re going to get to the Cerulean Expanse first. The path to the Queen’s Throne beginning from the first area is: Northeast, Southeast, Northeast, and East. Once you get there, you’ll have to face her in a boss fight. It’s not too tough and there are no restrictions on the party members. You’ll also be rewarded with a weapon for Seraï.

Note: Don’t forget to collect the sweet Rainbow Conches while you’re in the Cerulean Expanse.

Duke’s Stone – Free Duke Aventry

Go to the Flooded Graveyard on Wraith Island. Head to the land to the left of the entrance of Necromancer’s Lair. There, you will see Duke Aventry who is serving Romaya at the moment. Enter the cave behind him, and you will see a chest with three runes on it.

You will need to remember these runes, or take a screenshot. After that, exit the Flooded Graveyard and leave Wraith Island and fly to northeast to find the island with “Romaya’s Secret Passage”. You’ll see three runes and match them with the previous runes on the chest. Enter the passage and take the journal from the chest. Give it to Duke Aventry, and receive the Yellow Flame from him. Give it to the Ferryman and he will take you to the Necromancer.

You will face her once more, and after defeating her, she’ll hand you a locket. Give the locket to Duke, and he’ll hand you the key to his coffin. Open the coffin to pick up your reward and finish the quest.

B’st’s Stone – Defeat the Battle Arena in Brisk

“No” is not an option.

Go to the Port Town of Brisk on Sleeper Island. To the east of the fountain, you will see the Dweller’s Fall Arena. You will need to enter the Arena and fight in four different ranks with increasing difficulties. Each rank is three rounds with a boss at the end.

Note: You cannot heal or use items between the rounds, so make sure your equipment is good enough before entering.

Valere or Zale’s Stone Complete the Solstice Shrines

In your Home World, there are five Solstice Shrines. Inside each one there should be some puzzles. Solving them will reward you with weapons, armor and combo spells. Once you complete all five, a portal will open in Moorlands on the Sleeper Island. You will need to defeat the Elder Mist again, and in this battle you’ll only be able to use Valere or Zale.

Note: Elder Mist will be more difficult to defeat this time, so be careful when you approach.

Resh’an’s Stone – Find the Docarri Scales

In your Home World map, you will find an island in the northwest. Island has a single button which will activate some light crystals that rise from water. Once you’ve activated them, they will light up some paths for you to follow. Whirlpools will lead you to some dungeons.

Three of those will take you to “Sunken Docarri Ruins” where you will find puzzle rooms. Complete the puzzles and collect all three Docarri Scales. After that, light up the path that leads to “Sealed Docarri Ruins”. Insert the scales here to activate a boss fight with a familiar face.

Note: Be prepared to this fight as the slug will be much stronger than before.

New Garl +

Once you’ve completed all the tasks above and illuminated all seven pillars, visit the stones in Moorland and resurrect Garl. This will unlock the New Garl+ achievement. This is not necessary for the True Ending.

True Ending & No God Of Mine

Once you’ve completed all your tasks and the pillars are lit up, go to the Fleshmancer’s Lair to face the final boss. This time there will be a much difficult opponent, but once you triumph, you will see the True Ending of the game and get the “No God Of Mine” achievement.
