1. Reach the start of the Distilled Water Maze dungeon.
2. Make sure you are prepared with the best food items for healing.
3. Enter the maze and reach the poisoned water.
4. Follow the directions mentioned while healing and rolling.
5. Reach the center of the maze and claim your hard-earned reward.

Reaching the Beginning

The first step in beating the Distilled Water Maze is actually reaching there. This can be difficult for players due to the challenging nature of Derelict and how hard it can be to navigate through it. To reach the start of the maze, you must go towards the Crystalline Caverns and follow the pathway which reaches the bottom of a cave. In turn, this cave will lead you to a wooden bridge that will look abandoned and broken with torches lining the sides. Be careful not to fall through the gaps! Keep walking on the bridge until you reach the start of a giant temple, which represents the start of the maze.

Preparing for the Maze

Navigating through the Distilled Water Maze without proper preparation is practically impossible. The moment you enter the waters, you will be met with a constant poisoned state that will slowly start eating away at your health. There is nothing you can do to counter this effect except taking healing items periodically to keep regaining health. This is why you must prepare and bring as much of the best food items you can alongside you. We recommend taking 8-12 herrings with you to be on the safe side. It will also help if you have a large vitality bar, although you can make do with just the food items. These preparations will help save your life. After all, death in the maze will lead you to losing a decent portion of your crowns and you want to avoid that at all costs.

Reach The Poison Waters

Once you are prepared, it is time to enter the Distilled Water Maze. This will be marked by you crossing the fog door into the maze. Initially, the maze will not look too bad as there will be no dangers initially. You want to follow any of the left or right pathways that border around the pillar rising in the center from underneath. Do this, until you reach a large entrance with broken debris inside forming a cave-like opening. Above this entrance, will be a large ominous looking purple symbol. Go through the small pathway in this opening to the end where the poison waters lie.

Navigating The Maze

Navigating the maze will be the most challenging aspect of this dungeon. The moment you touch the water you will have a constant poison effect on you. This effect will slowly drain your health. The important thing here is that you must not panic and stay focused on going as straight ahead as possible. While you move, make sure that you spam the roll button as much as you can as this will allow you to navigate through the maze quickly. Don’t worry if your stamina runs out. Just keep on moving forward until it has regained, after which you can resume rolling. While moving you want to ensure that you keep an eye on your health bar so that you can take your food items when it is not too high and not too low. This strategy will ensure that your health bar is alway under control as the poison effect does damage.

Directions

Navigating through the maze is tricky as the path may not always look straightforward. Sometimes, you will have to move backwards to move forwards. You will not have time to think either due to the constant poison effect that you will be focused on. Here are directions to follow that can allow you to get to the center of the maze:

• Go through the opening with the purple logo and immediately go towards the first doorway you see on the left.
• Turn right and go to the first doorway you see. Turn left immediately and walk the long hallway until you see the first doorway on the right.
• Turn left and continue down the long hallway. Skip the first doorway on the left and instead enter the second one on the left.
• Turn right and take the first doorway on your right. Go straight through the doorway that follows in front, a bit towards the right.
• Turn right and take the first doorway on the left. Go straight through the second doorway that is very slightly to the left and turn right.
• Turn left and skip the doorway on the right. Instead, go for the doorway on the left at the end of the hallway before turning right.
• Follow the hallway before taking a left, then right, then left again.
• Follow the long hallway to the end and turn into the doorway on the right. Turn right and follow the hallway to the end where you will turn left.
• You will now be able to see the light signaling the end of the maze. Follow it until you are in front of it.

Claim The Distilled Waters

Congratulations! You have made it through the Distilled Waters maze and can now claim your prize. You can do this by interacting with the light to get the scroll. However, make sure you have done everything you wanted in the maze as you cannot re-enter the maze after you have received your prize. Interacting with the light will automatically transport you to the other side of the fog wall. You can now equip the scroll and use the Distilled Waters spell.
