There are a lot of games out there that now have Halloween updates ready for players to go through. Halloween events are always fun since it usually means you get to experience new content in the game. In Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition, there’s a new event for you to do and with it comes event-only items as well as a long quest for you to do!
In this guide, we’ll show you how you do the Halloween Event quest in the game. Now, get ready since there are a lot of steps in this quest!
Halloween Event 2023 Guide
This Halloween quest for Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition will have you run around the map talking to different NPCs and solving puzzles.
It’s well worth it though because you’ll get some unique accessories for your cat afterwards. Here’s how you do this quest!
Speak With Dawnie And Tigress
When you log in to the game while the event is on, you’ll see a notification to the right showing you stuff about the event. You’ll see that Dawnie has returned and that you can talk to her to start the quest.
NOTE: If you can’t find Dawnie in Treecut Place try hopping to different servers. Sometimes it can be a bit buggy with a lot of people.
To find Dawnie, you’ll need to go to Dawnie in Treecut Place near a pile of logs next to the road. From there, you’ll need to exhaust all of the dialogue and then continue to Tigress.
You’ll find Tigress in the Barn in the Unclaimed Lands. You’ll then need to talk to her and finish all of her dialogue.
Make sure you go through her dialogue about the Trinket and the Thief as well. To proceed, we’ll have to find those two.
Finding The Trinket
First off, we’ll go find the Trinket because it’s the nearest one from Tigress. Go to the barn next to where she is and go inside. You can then go to the area shown below and in the Hay Pile, you can find the amulet.
You’ll then need to go back to where you talked to Tigress and you’ll find out that she’s gone. You know you’re in the right spot when you see the message “Tigress doesn’t seem to be here anymore…”
You can then go back to Treecut Place where you’ll need to go where Dawnie was. That’s where you’ll find that she’s also gone as shown below.
The 31 Door
The next step of the quest is to go to Mother Mouth and head to the area shown below. There, you’ll find an item called an Unknown Fur that you can smell the scent of. This will guide you into the caves nearby where you’ll see a cat going through it.
Go into the caves and you’ll find this giant gate as shown below. This is where the trail ends cold and you’ll need to go somewhere else. Make sure to go near the door so that the quest knows you’ve been there.
The Sliding Puzzle
For the next part of the quest, you’ll need to head to the barn again and go to the Horse Stall shown below. There, you’ll find a tunnel in the middle that will lead you to the next area.
That area is a slide puzzle like the one shown below. The puzzle will have a missing piece and you’ll need to slide the pieces around to solve it.
Sadly, each server has a different piece missing so there’s no definitive answer for the puzzle. You’ll have to solve it on your own when you find it.
Once you’ve solved the puzzle, an item will appear near you. That item is called a “Shell with Badger Fur.” You’ll also get a Mysterious Collar with it. We’ll need both of them later, so make sure to take them.
The Prey Puzzle
In front of the Barn in the Wind Clan Territory is your next stop. In the field, you’ll find a tunnel that will lead you to a bunch of totems of different colors and animal prints. You’ll need to catch different prey animals and offer them to the right totem.
Here are all the animals you need and which totem they need to be offered to:
- Frog — Teal-colored Totem
- Rabbit — Green-colored Totem
- Rainbow Trout — Blue-colored Totem
- Squirrel — Purple-colored Totem
- Mouse — Orange-colored Totem
Once you’ve placed the right offerings in the totem, you can then pick up the Notched Stick and the Shady Mushroom in the middle. These are two items that we’ll need for the last steps.
The Final Steps
When you get any of the 4 items listed above, you’ll need to go to Mother Mouth. You can access the room there once you’ve done the sliding puzzle and gotten the first two items.
Inside that room, you’ll find 4 pedestals and you’ll need to place each item on the right pedestal as shown below.
Once you’ve placed the 4th item, this in-game cutscene will start as shown below. Once you’re finished with this cutscene, you’ll need to find the Moonstone Shard.
This Shard can spawn in multiple different locations on the map and is by far the hardest to find. Here are the possible locations you can find the Moonstone at:
- Moonstone
- The Barn
- The Entrance to the Totems
- The 31 door
- The Den under the Wind clan rock overhang
- Between Wind Clan and the gorge
- Carrionplace
Once you’ve found the Moonstone shard, you’ll then need to back to where the pedestals are and then place the shard in the middle. Another in-game cutscene will play and that would be the end of the quest!
Rewards
As you go through the different parts of the quest, you’ll get different accessories. There are 8 of them in total and here are the items you’ll get:
- Sanguine Amulet
- Rose Eyepatch
- Blood Moon Earpiece
- Blood Moon Fan Earpiece
- Left Blood Moon Leg Wrap
- Right Blood Moon Leg Wrap
- Blood Moon Belt
- Blood Moon Neckpiece
