Some of the characters are playable right from the start of the campaign in Risk of Rain Returns. However, there’s a couple characters that you can only unlock by getting certain achievements, and by simply playing the game. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get the Bandit. It’s actually pretty simple, read on to find out.
How to Unlock Bandit
To unlock the Bandit in Risk of Rain Returns, just finish the Third Level on any difficulty (except Drizzle) using any character. Once you’re done, you’ll get an achievement confirming Bandit is now unlocked.
Simply claim the Bandit and you’ll be able to get it for yourself! Yep, it’s that simple.
He excels in explosive damage with his signature shotgun and boasts skills that suit an Assassin-style approach. Moreover, Bandit’s abilities enable him to briefly go unnoticed before deploying his powerful Ultimate attack.

- Blast
- Dynamite Toss
- Smoke Bomb
- Lights Out
