Lethal Company is a fun co-io horror game that has you go around different moons and scavenging them for salvage, which you can sell for scrap. But there’s one thing they didn’t tell you when going to these different locations, and that’s the monsters that will be waiting for you when you roam these abandoned moons.
After all, that’s why they’re abandoned in the first place. But you can fight back if you can, using weapons like a shovel. But what can you kill with a shovel? In this guide, I’m going to show you all the monsters that can be killed with such a simple weapon.
What Can You Kill With Shovel?
There are a lot of monsters in the game, and they all come in different shapes and sizes, but not all of them can be killed.
In fact, some of the bigger monsters you can find in the game are unkillable as of right now, but methods of killing them can possibly be added in the future. But for now, you can use a shovel to kill these monsters:
- Spider – Can be killed with a shovel by getting it stuck on a railing and wailing on the thing. Can also use the Zap Gun to stun it before hitting it with a shovel.
- Thumper – Same with the Spider, get it stuck or use the Zap Gun before using your shovel to wallop the creature.
- Snare Fly – Jump up into the air and hit it with a shovel. If the creature falls down to the ground, use this opportunity to hit it as many times until it dies or if it flies back up.
- Braken – Using the Zap Gun to stun it before hitting it is the best way to deal with it.
- Hoarding Bug – If you’re quick enough, two hits with a shovel can kill it before it realizes you’re attacking it.
- Spore Lizard – Simply hitting it with a shovel is enough.
- Eyeless Dog – This creature will charge at you, but you can dodge it if you’re quick enough. I don’t recommend it though, so using the Zap Gun to stun it and hitting it with a shovel is much safer.
- Giants – While large in size, they’re not invincible. If you can find a higher platform that lets you hit their head from above, it’s doable. It is not recommended to fight them by hitting their legs and feet.
- Baboon Hawk – Simply bashing it with a shovel will work.
