Deepwoken: Mistakes That Everyone Makes Guide

Try not to make the same mistakes!

As it is an incredibly complicated and challenging game, Deepwoken players may find themselves making all sorts of mistakes ranging from forgetting to use their mantras to other minor issues that you may not notice in the heat of battle. This guide will go over some of the basic errors to watch out for!

Mistakes That Everyone Makes Guide

First of all, in a PVP situation, you will want to always make sure that you’re using your mantras. Oftentimes, players will find themselves relying too much on their M1 attacks and forgetting that they have an entire arsenal that they could also unleash on their opponent.

This is particularly important when you have something like Reinforce equipped. Using it off cooldown constantly will ensure that you decrease the amount of damage you take at all times.

This is also essential when you have a Flame Wisp. Pay attention to it at all times, as when it’s gone, you must put it back up as it is a free buff that you aren’t taking advantage of otherwise.

When you’re relying a lot on your M1 attacks, don’t forget to take advantage of running attacks. You can often catch people off guard by doing these immediately after parrying.

Also, always go for successful parries and rolls. Missing too many due to bad timing or panicking will lead to you taking more unnecessary damage.

Always pay attention to what your enemies are doing as well. Don’t blindly jump in when your enemy is going for any big moves, especially when you know that this will buff their next attack.

And those are some of the basic mistakes that people tend to make. If you can avoid making these errors during PvP encounters, you will find yourself winning more fights!
