COD MWZ: What To Do With The Locked Diary

Some of the items in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies can be a bit confusing to use. In fact, even mission-important items aren’t that clear on what their use is for.

One of the items is the Locked Diary which you get when you’re trying to open the Dark Aether Rift in the game.

Where can you use this item and what else do you need for the mission?

What To Do With The Locked Diary

The Locked Diary is one of the items you’ll need this season to open the Dark Aether Rift in the zombie mode of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

This is part of the Bad Signal mission. At the start of the mission, you’ll need to go to the Dark Aether Rift shown below.

When you get there, you’ll find a bunch of pedestals. After you interact with it; they’ll ask for an offering.

One of the first offerings you can place is the Locked Diary. Just walk up to the pedestal and interact with it, then place the Locked Diary.

You’ll need to find other items throughout the map to offer to the pedestals. Once you get all the items, the Dark Aether Rift will open, and you can continue with the mission.

You can use the Locked Diary for in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Now, go out there and use that item for the mission!
