COD MWZ: Where To Find The Dog Collar

With the Aether Rifts going around in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies you’ll want to have some items to get the good stuff.

One of the items that you’ll need to open the Dark Aether Portal in the game is the Dog Collar. It’s not an item that you just pick up from somewhere and you’ll need to go through a few hoops to get it.

Where To Find The Dog Collar

With the new Season 1 story missions in COD MWZ, you’ll get the mission to open the Dark Aether Rift.

To do that, you’ll need to find all sorts of different unique items in the game. One of those items is the Dog Collar and here’s how you obtain it.

Obtaining Dog Collar

To get a Dog Collar in the game, you’ll need to find a Doghouse. They’re littered around the map, and you’ll need to find one to get started. You’ll also need to get a Molotov as well as a Chunk of Flesh.

Once you have both of those items, you’ll want to walk up to the Doghouse and interact with it. You’ll then need to place the Molotov and the Chunk of Flesh inside.

When you do that, a regular Hellhound will appear, and you’ll need to kill it. Don’t mind the fire that appears on the ground when you do so!

When it’s defeated, it’ll explode into a fiery mess and on the ground, you’ll find a Dog Collar of the purple rarity.

Obtaining Gold Dog Collar

Once you have the Dog Collar, you’ll want to upgrade it to a Gold Rarity. To do that, with the collar in your inventory go through an Aether Tear.

This will send you up in the sky and from there, you’ll need to open your parachute. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to find the Red Portal and go through it.

Once you’re through the portal, you’ll be transported to another area. Nearby will be a Contract that you’ll need to get which is usually a Tier 3 one.

After you finish it, an Aether tear will appear nearby with the rewards, and you can get a Gold Rarity Dog Collar!

That’s how you can get the Dog Collar in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Now, go out there and try to get it yourself!
