Are you constantly joining a server and finding your base around you with holes and your loot missing? Well, it is time for the pray to become the hunter. Here is the Ultimate Guide on how to own everyone on your server. Let’s get started.

Ultimate Guide On How to Online Raid – RUST

There is not a true or correct way how to Raid somebody’s base. It all depends on how the base is fortified and protected. A big factor is if you are going to get shot while trying to break in or catch your victims unprepared.

Observe the base for better understanding before you go for the strike. Learn when it is populated and where the loot will be located. Make a building plan as well as building materials as to better protect yourself while inside(double door, wall frame, hammer, door, lock…)

Top-down raiding is popular, which means raiding from the base’s top-down, either through the floor or through doorways, to avoid the honeycombing seen on the sides of bases. It’s also useful for compounds, and depending on how many auto-turrets and SAM sites they have, it can keep you safe. The bad news is that you’ll probably only get one go at this strategy because you won’t be using a raiding base.

You may door raid right through the front door and keep going, but most people will put up a lot of doors and divert you along a path that will significantly raise your raid cost.

Raids from the side, straight through the honeycomb, are also possible, but they rely on the chance that you’ll have enough explosives and be able to reach the base from an advantageous location.

If you think it’s worthwhile, you can build a raiding base. Since we are talking about an online raid, go for it unless the base is small and the treasure isn’t too plentiful. Then some sleeping bags and emergency supplies should suffice. A raid base can be as simple as a 2×1 that acts as a spawn place and temporary treasure storage, or it might be a bigger structure with a second level where you can fire out of. Make it fit the size of your raid once again.

The choice of explosives is also dependent. Satchels are useful in the beginning, but they rapidly become obsolete when individuals begin to use garage and fortified doors. Counter raiders will be less likely if you use explosive ammo with a suppressed weapon, although it will take longer and is probably best suited for door raiding exclusively. Rockets are the most prevalent, while C4 is the least common. C4 does a lot of harm, but it’s also incredibly pricey. Rockets are also pricey, but they do not contain any technology garbage, thus most people choose that option.

Always have a ladder with you. You don’t want to miss a jump and wind yourself stranded in the base. A very big thing too is to never rely on that you’ll succeed on your first try. Don’t over equip yourself and then be killed only to see your precious weapons and gear used against you. Always leave something back in your base or behind, and plan on dying. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

A very effective strategy is to plant up your explosives and make a big boom that can be heard from a mile away. Just wait on other raiders to gather around your target like hyenas. Once they start fighting each other, swoop in for the kills and get yourself loot from 2 whole squads.

I hope this was of some help. Have fun!
