Black Clover M: Everything We Know About Update 3 & Start Date

Black Clover Mobile Season 3 is scheduled to drop soon on the global server. With thousands of players across the world, the anticipation for this new season has been building. The Preheat trailer has successfully stirred excitement for the fans, but as of now, no official date has been announced for the launch.

Everything We Know About Update 3 & Start Date

The original speculation across the fandom was that Update 3 would drop after the Kahono and Kiato banners.

This is because this season 3 update of Black Clover M is set to usher in new students (and new characters to pull) to the academic halls of Clover Academy.

New Characters

There are three new characters to be introduced to the game. Season 3 invites Jack the Ripper, Charlotte, and Fuegoleon Vermillion into Black Clover M’s roster of characters. Players can’t try out these characters yet, but here’s what we know so far about their kits.

Jack the Ripper

• Blade Attack
  • has a 60% chance of inflicting the Bleed status on enemies
  • deals constant damage for two turns
• Physical Ability
  • Grants [Increased PEN lv. 4] for two turn(s)
  • Grants [IncreasedCRIT Rate Lv. 4] for one turn (s)
  • Grants a 60% chance of [Increased SPF Lv. 1] for two turns
• Special Attack (Death Scythe)
  • 80% chance to inflict [Bleed] on the enemy
    • continuous damage for two turns
    • attacks after granting 10% [Increased CRIT DMG] for each active [Buff] present.

Charlotte

• Rapid Thorns
•  applies [Counterattack] to the ally with the strongest ATK for one turn (s).

• Preview and Review
  • Grants allies a 40% [Increased ATK] for two turns
• Instructor’s Skills
  • Grants allies a 60% chance to [Counterattack] for one turn

Fuegoleon Vermillion 

• Ray of Extinction
  • Inflicts 30% [Increase DMG Dealt] on an enemy already taking Continuous Damage
• Onslaught of the Flame Lion Skill
  • Has a 50% chance to inflict [Burn] on an enemy
    • Deals continuous damage for two turns
• Leo Rugiens 
  • Attacks enemies after granting a 40% [Increased DMG Dealt] to an enemy taking [Continuous Damage]
    • Inflicts [Burn] on enemies

Do note that the above skills haven’t been confirmed yet for the Global Server. However, this should give players a good idea of what to expect. 

These new characters have the potential to shake up the current meta, so this season 3 update is one to look out for.

This applies most to Charlotte, with her ultimate move granting a powerful Counterattack making her the character to roll for this season.

Everything We Know About Chapter 7

Apart from these new characters, this latest update ushers Chapter 7 of the story. 

The latest trailer previews that this chapter will revolve around Kiten and its fall to the Diamond Kingdom, Langris and his plans, the secrets beneath Captain William’s mask, and more.

Events

There are also three events coming with this update. These include:

• Clover Dice Event – Roll for rewards in Black Clover M’s rendition of a classic game.
• Bingo Event – Accomplish tasks and get rewards during this limited-time event.
• Event Arena – Engage in combat under controlled conditions.

The Event Arena will have an awards shop where players can redeem points for stamina, gold, and other perks. 

While there is no announced date yet for this update 3 drop, we can expect it soon. So, while Vic Game Studios continues to drop more teasers, make sure you save up for any of these three new characters and prep for these upcoming events.
