Every Boss Weapon & How To Get Them

There are lots of awesome bosses in Soul Knight Prequel. And if you’ve been playing the game for quite some time now, you know that defeating bosses give you the chance to craft their powerful and exclusive boss weapons.

However, it takes more than just beating them, it’ll need extreme luck and persistence. Below, I’ve provided a Table of Contents, so you can easily navigate to whichever boss you need help with.

If you want to learn more about bosses in Soul Knight Prequel, we have a dedicated guide for that topic as well. Make sure to check it out!

Black ArchKnight

There are a lot of bosses in Soul Knight Prequel and all of them can be quite challenging. Beating them though can give you a chance to craft one of the more powerful gears in the game like the best weapons.

Here’s how you can get the weapons from the Black Archknight!

To get Black ArchKnight weapons, you’ll first need to fight the Black ArchKnight boss. Some bosses only spawn in set times in the game and this one is no different.

It can spawn in the Ruined Citadel at night around 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Soul Knight Prequel Ruined Citadel

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to get the cards to craft the weapons. You can boost the chances of getting cards in the game using juices from alchemy.

To craft the weapons, you’ll need to go to the town and talk to the Craftsmith NPC there.

Soul Knight Prequel Craftsmith NPC

Talk to the craftsmith and then you’ll want to go to the weapons tab and scroll down to the Black Archknight weapons.

There are 4 weapons in total which are the Spear, Dual Blades, Great Sword, and Sword & Shield.

Soul Knight Prequel Black Archknight Weapons

One of the notable things about this set is the spear since it’s the only legendary rarity spear in the game. So, if you like using spears in the game this is the best one you can get.

Most users often go for the greatsword due to its huge swing area and flashy moves, so if you’re into that then that weapon is for you.

That’s how you can get the Black Archknight weapons in Soul Knight Prequel. Now, go out there and try to get it yourself!

Ember Dragon

Like most boss weapons in the game and as the name implies, you’ll need to defeat the Ember Dragon to get this weapon.

Not only that, but you’ll also need to get the cards needed to craft said weapons and that can be a bit tricky. If you’re able to make them though, the weapons here can fit a wide range of classes!

Ember Dragon Boss

The Ember Dragon boss can be found in the Scorching Volcano map during the times of 00:00 – 24:00.

It’s one of the slower bosses out there but it does have a lot of AoE attacks so watch out. Once you’ve defeated the Dragon, you can then try and craft the weapons!

Soul Knight Prequel Ember Dragon

Crafting The Weapons

To get the weapons, you’ll need to go to the town and look for the Craftsmith NPC. Talk to that NPC and go to the weapons crafting tab.

Scroll down until you reach the Ember Wyrm weapons and that’s where you can craft them.

They’ll need some cards though and you can increase the chances of them spawning with juices from alchemy!

Soul Knight Prequel Ember Wyrm Weapons

Ember Wrym Weapons

There are 4 Ember Wyrm Weapons in the game, a dual blade, sword and shield, lance and shield as well as a staff. Here are all the weapons you can get from this boss weapon set:

  • Flamewrought Flamberge of the Ember Wrym
  • Twin Sai of the Ember Wrym
  • Horn of the Ember Wrym
  • Pyrolance of the Ember Wrym

That’s how you can get all of the Ember Dragon weapons in Soul Knight Prequel. Now, go out there and try to get them yourself!

Golden Crab

When going through the many bosses in Soul Knight Prequel, you might have gotten some cards as loot.

These cards are used to make some amazing weapons and armor that are special to that boss. One of the bosses you can fight is the Giant Golden Snapclaw and its weapons are golden as well!

Giant Golden Snapclaw

The Giant Golden Snapclaw is the golden version of the Giant Crystal Snapclaw. It’s a hidden boss in the game and is not one of the normal bosses you can fight at any time.

You can only fight this boss on Saturdays or Sundays. You can also only fight this boss once a day!

To get this boss, you’ll need to talk to Guardsman Wright in the town on Saturdays or Sundays. Once you’ve done that, you’ll get the quest to investigate the Crystal Mine.

At the very end of the mines is where the Golden Crab Spawns.

The chances of the card dropping are quite low and the fact that you can only fight it twice a week makes these weapons rare.

Soul Knight Prequel Guardsman Wright

Golden Snapclaw Weapons

If you’re one of the lucky ones that can get the card, then you can craft your Golden Crab weapons. Here are all the weapons that you can get in this boss set:

  • Vitreus Hammer of the Golden Snapclaw
  • Vitreus Lance of the Golden Snapclaw
  • Pincers of the Golden Snapclaw
  • Crossbow of the Golden Snapclaw

That’s how you can get all the weapons from the Golden Crab boss in Soul Knight Prequel. Now, go out there and try to get them yourself!

Crystal Crab

When fighting the Crystal Crab, it’s mostly just button mashing palooza. Just keep hitting it until its health reaches zero.

However, there is a phase that you need to stop attacking, lest you want the fight to last longer that it needs to. When you do enough damage, the Crystal Crab will hide in its shell and will come out after a few moments.

When this happens, do not attack the shell. Attacking the shell will regenerate its health. So, the more you attack, the more health it gets before it comes out of the shell and attack you.

The only thing you need to do is just to stop attacking when it hides, wait, and then attack again until its health reaches zero. Once you repeat the cycle, the boss will be defeated.

All Crystal Crab Weapon Showcase

When you defeat the Crystal Crab, it will drop weapons for you to use. It won’t drop all of the weapons for your immediate use, so you will need to run the boss several times in order to get all of the weapons it has.

Once you have all the weapons, you can then test them out yourself to see if they’re good. Here are the weapons you can find after defeating the Crystal Crab:

  • Greatsword of the Crystal Snapclaw (Legendary Greatsword)
    • Attack Power 194
    • Spirit of the Crystal Snapclaw
    • Blowout
  • Twinblades of the Crystal Snapclaw (Legendary Dual Blades)

Anubis

First off, you will need to beat the game first to unlock Challenging and Heroic difficulty. Once you have those difficulties unlocked, make sure to choose one of the two.

When you have successfully chosen a difficulty, go to the Arid Sands after 6 PM (your time).

Bear in mind that Anubis will not spawn if you go in at any time before 6 PM. Anubis will only show up between 6 PM and 6 AM, so make sure to remember to finish fighting the boss after 6 PM and before 6 AM.

Going to the Arid Sands to fight Anubis in Soul Knight Prequel.

When you reach the end of the level, you will find Anubis. The fight will begin, and Anubis will drop pillars on top of you.

Keep moving around to dodge the pillars and his attacks, as getting hit will deal major damage to your character.

Fighting Anubis in Soul Knight Prequel.

Anubis also has an attack that rapidly shoots out bullets in every direction, turning this part into a Bullet Hell game.

Just like in Bullet Hell games, you will need to maneuver your character around to avoid the bullets and take less damage, all while still dealing damage.

But other than those attacks, Anubis is a pretty easy boss that you can defeat. Just remember to avoid the pillars and bullets, and you should be able to defeat Anubis.

Anubis All Weapon Showcase

When you defeat Anubis, you will get a chance to get his weapons. It is rare to get all of them at once, which is why you might need to run through this boss several times until you finally do.

But once you do, you will have all of his weapons at your disposal. One thing these weapons share is the Spirit of Anubis, which is the Fatebound Node that increases effectiveness with every gear piece equipped.

Here are the weapons you will find when you defeat Anubis:

  • Anubis Scepter (Legendary Staff)

Mandragora

In order to be able to fight Mandragora, you will first need to beat the game once and unlock Challenging or Heroic difficulty.

After that, you need to go to Murkwood on either Challenging or Heroic difficulty. One other thing you need is to go after 8 PM your time.

Some bosses in the game only spawn after a specific time. If it is still not 8 PM for you, then you need to wait until it is 8 PM your time before going to Murkwood at the Southern Steppes.

Going to the Murkwood in Soul Knight Prequel.

You will know you can fight Mandragora when you reach the last part of the level and see the boss waiting for you there.

After a short introduction, the boss fight will start. Bear in mind that you will need to fight both Mandragoras, so you will no doubt be overwhelmed at certain points in the fight.

The boss fight with the Mandragora's start in Soul Knight Prequel.

While fighting the boss, you will need to watch out for laser beams that will come from the sky and poison discs.

The laser can be avoided as before it will strike, there will be an indicator on the ground that shows you where it will strike. Simply move away as fast as you can and keep attacking.

Poison discs are easier to dodge, as they only go in one direction. But with how hectic things will get during the fight, you might find yourself accidentally walking into one.

Don’t fret, just make sure that you don’t get hit too much.

Moving around while fighting the Mandragora's in Soul Knight Prequel.

Keep fighting and you will finally defeat Mandragora and grab all the loot on the ground!

Mandragora All Weapons Showcase

Slime King

The Slime King (Hidden) drops a total of four weapons that have varying uses. In order to get these items, you’re going to have to travel to the Brinewash Grotto to fight the boss.

Slime King only appears between 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Fighting the boss numerous times is what you’ll need to do in case you don’t get the weapon you want.

Soul Knight Prequel Slime King Boss Location

Slimy Knuckles

The Slimy Knuckles are a pair of boxing gloves, so it’s a melee weapon you can use the knock the lights out of your opponent in quick succession.

Apart from fisting your opponent to death, you also steal a little bit of their HP for every hit that manages to connect.

Soul Knight Prequel Slime King Boss Weapon

Slimy Jawbreaker

This giant red ball stuck on a popsicle stick classifies as a Legendary Greatsword. It takes a second for you to attack as the swings you make are quite wide.

Just like the Slime Knuckles, this too, has the ability to steal your opponent’s HP.

Soul Knight Prequel Slime King Boss Weapon

Slimy Soaker

If you thought this was some weird weapon from the future then you’re not alone. However, it’s actually a water gun that fires slime particles.

Some of the projectiles bounce off to other targets as well thanks to Ricochet.

Soul Knight Prequel Slime King Boss Weapon

Slimy Flask

Just like the legendary water gun crossbow, this too, has Ricochet. Since it’s a flask, what you do is lob it towards your aggressor and watch them take damage from the mucus that gets scattered on the ground.

You can charge it up to four levels as well to summon 2 slimes that will fight for you.

And those are the Slime King’s weapons in Soul Knight Prequel. See what fits your fancy and start working for them today!

Grimhowl Gang

First, to get the weapons and accessories, you will need to defeat the Grimhowl Gang Leader, which is a hidden boss in the game.

You can find him in the Southern Steppes (Area Level 50) from 6PM – 6AM. His fight is pretty straightforward with little to no special moves.

It is basically a stat check and as long as you are strong enough, you can beat him.

Soul Knight Prequel: All Weapon Boss – Grimhowl Gang Guide

In the image down below, you will be able to see a list of all 5 items you can get from the Grimhowl Gang Leader Boss.

He has a chance of dropping 3 different weapons and 2 different pieces of accessories.

Set Effects

When you equip a number of items from the same Grimhowl Gang set, you will receive specific stat boosts. Here’s the Spirit of the Grimhowl Gang set effect.

This effect greatly increases the crit chance of all allies but reduces your own crit damage. Overall, this is a great set for you to get if you are looking to support your allies more:

  • 1 Piece: No effect.
  • 2 Piece: Crit Damage -30%, Friendly units in a 6m Radius Crit Chance +60%.
  • 3 Piece Set: Crit Damage -60%, Friendly units in a 6m Radius Crit Chance +120%.

A lot of players tend to go with a 2-piece set effect and equip all the pet items on their pets. This is because having a +120% Crit Chance is a little bit too much and can become a waste of stats.

If your teammates don’t plan to build any Crit Chance, this set will be amazing to boost their damage.

Soul Knight Prequel Set Effects

Weapons

The first item is the Grimhowl Code of Honor. This item will let you spawn a member of the Grimhowl Gang.

Keep in mind that you can only have two members up at one time. The moment you summon a third member, one of the two other members will respawn.

Soul Knight Prequel Weapons

The next weapon in this set is the Grimhowl Knuckles, a legendary Fist Weapon. If you are someone who loves fighting at close range and having a melee playstyle, choose this weapon.

It can deal decent damage to your opponents, just try to dodge the enemies’ attacks to minimize the damage you take.

Soul Knight Prequel Fist

This set also has a ranged weapon called the Grimhowl Warbow M. This is a weapon that lets you shoot strong arrows at your opponent.

When charging the bow, you will shoot a piercing arrow that penetrates through enemies.

Soul Knight Prequel Bow

The third weapon is the Grimhowl Battleaxe. This axe will deal strong uppercut attacks to your opponent. This has a slower attack speed compared to the other two weapons but can deal high damage per hit.

When charging the weapon, you will unleash a shockwave that deals damage to nearby opponents.

That’s all of the items you can get in the Grimhowl Gang set. As you obtain each and every single one of these weapons, use them in battle to see whether they fit your playstyle. They can be cool weapons you can get and play with your friends!

This Legendary Spear and Shield has an Attack Power of 162 with a Block Chance of 15. A very powerful weapon with a long reach whose highest damage can go up to 12224

In addition to that, it also has a charged ranged attack that causes your shield to fire projectiles that deal a ton of damage.

Soul Knight Prequel Varkolyn's Bite

Second is the Touch of Varkolyn, which is a legendary greatsword. In addition to its base attacks, its charged move causes the user to leap forward and summon giant tentacles that will attack nearby enemies.

Next up, Varkolyn’s Hexbow is a fast-firing bow that’s great for any ranged class. Its charged attack is very similar to the sword and shield’s one, except the projectiles are a bit more spread out.

Finally, the Varkolyn’s Kahili M is a legendary staff that fires dark orbs that deal a decent amount of damage. Its charged attack summons fields of cosmic energy that deal damage over time to anything on it.

Ancient Zulan

Ancient Zulan (Zulan the Colossus) is a formidable boss that can be found in the Ancient Ruins. This boss is among the most powerful in the game due to the minions it can summon to attack you. Since the majority of this boss’s attacks target ranged classes, melee attackers will be the best pick for you when you are trying to defeat it.

There are five weapons you can get from defeating Ancient Zulan. Each of these weapons carries important buffs that can enhance your battle power. It’s one of the most powerful bosses, among names like Void Varkolyn and C6H8O6. Therefore, you should be careful when attacking this boss.

Goblin Priest

The Goblin High Priest is one of the bosses you can find in the Forest of Tranqulity. Because of the surrounding vine tentacles and void beasts, this boss can be difficult to defeat.

While some would prefer to eliminate its minions first, you can divide up the work by having your allies concentrate on the lesser foes before taking on the boss.

There are four items in Goblin Priest’s weapon set. These weapons are mostly focused on dealing fire and magic damage to enemies. Therefore, we can say that it is one of the most powerful sets you can get in Soul Knight Prequel.

Sandworm

Colossal Sandworm is one of the bosses you can locate in Arid Sands. While we cannot say that this is an easy boss to defeat, it is not as difficult as Ancient Zulan or Goblin Priest. You might think that this boss will give you a hard time because it often disappears into the ground, but all you have to do is dodge its attacks.

The Collosial Sandworm’s weapon set includes four different pieces. All of them create a very powerful set for you to use in your battles.

Sandworm’s Fatebound – Spirit of Sandworm

It reduces the damage taken from all attacks, especially from behind.

  • 2 Piece Set: On taking certain damage, it modifies frontal damage taken by 90% and backside damage by 50%.

This one is a magic power weapon. It possesses the spirit of the sandworm and gravitic nova as well.

Greataxe of the Sandworm – Sword

The sword piece of this set gives you 194 attack powers. Like other pieces in the set, this weapon has the spirit of the sandworm and thorn guard.

These are everything you can find in Sandworm’s weapon set in Soul Knight Prequel. It might take you a while to farm them considering they have low chances of dropping, but it’ll be worth it.

Xalmor Worldbane

All 4 of the weapons here are dropped by Xalmor Worldbane boss (not to be confused with Xalmor boss!) from the last area in Xandu. They all have unique fatebounds, which I’ll talk about below.

Fatebounds

And here’s more on what fatebounds these weapons have:

All4 Xalmor Worldbane boss weapon icons.
  • Spirit of the Worldbane (3): Release [15/30] projectiles attack(s). 2m range. Inflict 200% Dark damage (based on Hybrid Attack Power).
This works by charging the fatebound using normal attack up to 10 times. Once you do, you’ll release these projectiles attacks.
  • Strength Boost: Gives bonus [25&/50%] Strength stats.

Xalmor Worldbane Boss Weapon Types

There are 4 types of weapons from the Xalmor Worldbane boss: Sword and Shield, Dual-sword, Greatsword, and Staff:

  • Gnawing Despair (sword and shield): Charged attack releases spheres that rotates around you, dealing dark damage to nearby enemy. The longer the charge, the more spheres you summon.
  • Duality of Sin (dual-sword): Chareging buffs your normal attacks to hit faster and also cause a small black vortex.
  • The Worldsplitter (greatsword): Charging creates an AoE that deals Dark damage constantly, but immobilizes you. The longer you charge, the bigger the AoE.
  • Inexorable End (staff): The staff’s charging attack allows you to summon minions.

This set is particularly popular among Druid mains because of the guaranteerd Strength Boost fatebound. The Spirit fatebound is also great as it adds to the summoner class with another strong summon.

That said, getting the full set can be absolute hell to do. That’s why we’ve got your back with this card farming guide (Season 1). Luck is definitely the main factor, still!

And that’s everything on all the Xalmor Worldbane boss weapon in Soul Knight Prequel!

Don Kruul

The Don Kruul boss drops 4 kinds of weapons and can be found in Tygrants’ Cragfort, an area in the new Xandu map. If you’re wondering how to get to Xandu, make sure to check out our guide on that topic as well.

Fatebounds

The Don Kruul sets come with the Spirit of Don Kruul (3) fatebound: 50% chance to trigger (2s cooldown). Release 1 Area attack (s). Inflict [300%/600%] Bludgeoning damage (based on Attack Power). Damage offset by 25%.

To explain, this fatebound triggers whenever you’re attacked. It creates a sort of counterattack that’s pretty powerful at over 600% Bludgeoning damage with 3-piece.

Don Kruul Boss Weapon Types

For the 4 types of weapons, you can find Crossbow, Greatsword, Sword & Shield, and Staff from this series.

  • Don’s Blundering Ballista: Charged attack sends a random barrage of arrow on red marked areas.

  • Don’s Mancleaver: When you charge attack, the greatsword dashes forward and sends a shockwave.
  • Don’s Sword & Shield: The charged attack of the sword and shield create a shockwave that knockbacks the enemies.
  • Don’s Flagellator: It has a rather weak normal attack, but the charged attack releases 3 balls of homing missiles that explode on contact.

And those are all the Don Kruul weapon and the fatebounds in Soul Knight Prequel.

Soul Knight Prequel Dracolith Kontarion Attack

Dracolith Kontarion

This is another melee weapon and the last one of the set. This time it’s a spear and shield and like the sword & shield variant it has no unique normal attack. When you fully charge an attack it will summon spikes from the ground that can hit multiple enemies!

Valadrion’s Soulplate

The Valadrion’s Soulplate Boss is a new Secret Boss in the Xandu Region. The boss is in Shattered Spine and starts spawning from around 6 to 8 pm (night).

When it comes to the difficulty, make sure you select the challenging or heroic difficulties to make sure you have a guaranteed chance of seeing the boss.

If you do it right, you will see the Valadrion’s Soulplate Boss in the Boss Room instead of the Dark Airbender.

Tips To Fight Valadrion’s Soulplate

The Valadrion’s Soulplate is a melee attack, meaning that you should maintain a safe distance from the boss and only attack whenever necessary. You can also go with a ranged weapon or class to help you do this more easily and attack the boss from afar.

Your companions or pets can be great ways to distract the boss and prevent him from attacking you. Each attack from the boss will deal extremely high damage, so do not underestimate it.

Soul Knight Prequel Valadrion's Soulplate Boss Fight

Every time Valadrion’s Soulplate is about to perform an attack or special move, there will be a red indicator to help you tell the affected range.

Always pay attention to his area of effect and react accordingly to dodge the attacks and prevent damage. If you are playing as a melee class or using a melee weapon, this becomes even more important to keep in mind.

Soul Knight Prequel Valadrion's Soulplate Attack Patterns

That’s how you can find and fight the Valadrion’s Soulplate boss in Soul Knight Prequel. Upon defeating him, you will receive some basic dungeon materials such as the Helxarine and Elbon Shards.
