Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a sequel to Dragon’s Dogma, an RPG game that released a decade ago. It was an experimental RPG that Capcom tried to back in the day when Resident Evil 6 was too busy getting bombed with reviews that made it all the way to the negatives. While not a lot of people knew about Dragon’s Dogma, it did raise a large fanbase that asked for a sequel, and oh boy did we get one. However, things are a bit different, as it seems that there are some issues that is causing players to unable to do damage. If you need help with that issue, then you have come to the right place.

How To Fix Not Doing Damage

Now, this may surprise you a bit, but the reason you are not doing damage is because you may have equipped something that is stopping you from preventing damage entirely. That piece of equipment is called the Ring of Derision, and this ring basically “weakens all of the wearers attacks to the fullest extent possible”.

That is the official description for the item, and it explains why you are not doing any damage. Some have said that the ring can be acquired while out in the world, others are saying that you get it for when you have to do a trial for the Sphinx. Either way, you need to unequip it immediately if you want to start dealing damage once more.

Fighting the Sphinx and dealing damage without the ring on in Dragon's Dogma 2.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
