Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Switch Weapons with Warfarer

Time to switch things up!

Warfarer vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2

Ah, a fellow Warfarer I see. I consider the Warfarer to be one of the coolest vocations (or classes), and I’m happy you’re giving a shot! Honestly, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an amazing experience, isn’t it? Of course, it isn’t without its fair share of confusing design choices, but I think it’s a fantastic game overall. That being said, I’m here to help answer one of the most common questions asked: how to switch weapons with Warfarer.

How To Switch Weapons with Warfarer

Since you’re here, I might as well explain a little bit about what makes the Warfarer special, and why switching weapons is such a big deal. The thing with this vocation is that — compared to the other vocations in the game — the Warfarer is something of a Jack of all trades. That means you get to use an arsenal of weaponry and various skills to attack (and style on) the enemy.

Why all the questions about switching weapons?

Now that we know why the Warfarer is such a cool Vocation, it’s time to get to the solution. You see, when Lamond gives you access to the vocation, he doesn’t offer the ability to switch weapons right off the bat.

You see, Lamond offers the scroll called Rearmament, which is a skill you use to switch weapons. This will come in handy when you decide to face monsters such as the Chimera — speaking of, is it possible to lop off the Chimera’s tail? Have a look if you’re interested!

What an odd fellow.

In any case, considering the fact that this class is all about weapon switching, it’s strange for Lamond to offer the scroll rather than just have it be a part of the class itself. In any case, you will have to equip this much like any other skill in the game.

But wait, I only have four skill slots!

Exactly. That means you should only choose two different equipment sets, so you can make the most out of your build. Sorry to make this simple question into part of a guide for the Warfarer, but I believe it’s important to mention.

The other three skill slots should have something to do with your two equipment sets. Sure, it might seem somewhat restrictive, but being a Warfarer honestly feels amazing.

Amazing indeed!

At the very least, you can equip whatever type of gear you want, which means not only will you style on your opponents, but you’ll look fashionable doing it!
